That’s not the point he’s making. He pointing out the total number of cases, and how much work it would be to track it all.

And corona virus isn't easily transmitted from surfaces. That is not how most people are getting it.
In San Jose, over 1/3 of our deaths are from nursing homes. We've had Corona virus since January. We've had 88 deaths. So 58 deaths out of population of 2 million in 4 months.
Not to mention antibody testing is saying there are over 100K with it.
I was worried when it first hit us. I'm not worried anymore. I'm high risk, and I'll be careful.

Studies have shown that the COVID-19 virus can survive for up to 72 hours on plastic and stainless steel, less than 4 hours on copper and less than 24 hours on cardboard.
Bottom line: It transfers well enough to get you targeted in a Contact Tracing investigation.
WHO/CDC skinny on the virus lifespan on surfaces:

Yeah. That’s what the health departments are doing. At least the good ones.

This is the sort of ignorant fear mongering that keeps me coming back to Buckeye Jeaux threads.

Contact Tracing may be "amost impossible" once the population's antibody rate reaches 4%

Is OP against contact tracing? Seems a silly thing to be upset about. It’s standard practice for a number of infectious diseases, and it can save lives the old fashioned way, by addressing medical risks before someone becomes a medical patient.
There’s really nothing to debate here.

It would have been GREAT in February when our genius Dr. Fauci was telling everyone to "Party Hearty". Or on January when Fauci's buddy WHO/Tedros was telling the world that this virus could NOT be transmitted human-to-human.
NOT in April... long after the virus "Went Viral".

But didn't you see?
There is nothing to debate.
Is there really somebody going around now and trying to find out everybody who has been in contact with somebody with it.
Guess what, at about 3 degrees of Kevin Bacon that is going to be half the state.

Yeah, like its not so much of a disturbance of privacy when the coroner splits open your bodies' breastplate and cracks open your ribcage as he/she performs their mandated autopsy....
You’re fricking stupid as frick. People like you provide no path forward for this country.

And Contract Tracing specialists like the one that the Michigan witless governor hired had a Leftist political agenda. They immediately took a deep dive into mining sensitive personal data from Michigan citizens.
Thank God they got busted!

These were tracing specialists who were contracted by the idiot governor of Michigan. They are all about dark web mining of personal information. They didn't know squat about covid. They are political activists...data tracers
If you were following this story wouldn't have made an arse of yourself with this comment.
She had to rescind the contract after all hell broke loose because of the invasions of privacy these clowns initiated
