and so this twat couldn't find any Russians and has nothing so she is threatening to release the full list as a frick you. She's deranged. So people will organize boycotts of their companies until they're fired or resign...
just for playing golf at a club owned by someone she doesn't like because of politics
that's batshit crazy activism, but she's actually supposed to work for a journalism outfit where there are standards

I don't see where they revealed the list of members, just a few people that they interviewed or who had a direct connection to Trump in official govt. business.
It's not really "doxxing"

Read the article...do it in your black voice.

Members of the clubs Trump has visited most often as president — in Florida, New Jersey and Virginia — include at least 50 executives whose companies hold federal contracts and 21 lobbyists and trade group officials. Two-thirds played on one of the 58 days the president was there, according to scores they posted online.
Modern journalism has gone to shite, it's just a series of partisan witch hunts
Classic case of throwing a big net hoping to find something

USA TODAY ID'ed 4,500 Trump golf-club members through social media & a website golfers use to track handicaps, then researched who they were

Oh, phew... uncovering the identity of 4,500 members is totally worth it to find 50 executives and 21 lobbyists. Screw those 4,429 other private citizens who want to play golf.

Standard journalism....
IN ONE DIRECTION.
Wasn't it the USA TODAY who had a "journalist" who held a recording of Obama saying some pretty awful things about Jews in a private setting, but refused to release it so it wouldn't harm Obama?
Yeah, please quit insulting everyone with this "standard journalism" BS when you know what their intent really is.

I think the thrust of the article is pretty clear and is standard investigative journalism.
Wouldn't their member initiation date be a pretty damn important consideration for this article?
How many of the "50 executives" already held memberships before Trump's election? That would (almost) complete negate, or verify, the insinuation the authors are making.
Honestly, it would be a really strong argument to their point if, say 2/3rds, of those 50 were recently added members. Kind of makes you wonder why the question wasn't addressed.

They're trying to draw the conclusion for the reader without doing it themselves.
They're trying to say these courses are the new Bohemian Grove

The review shows that, for the first time in U.S. history, wealthy people with interests before the government have a chance for close and confidential access to the president as a result of payments that enrich him personally.

The official word is that Trump is "working" on the golf course every weekend. It's probably fair to find out who he is "working" with.
As for random people who have club membership, who cares?

Two separate arguments.
The article is not doxxing, it it pretty straightforward investigative journalism.
Yes, the media are expending more energy investigating a President they don't like.
Also, this is pretty unique situation where folks interested in doing business with his administration can put money in his pockets through his business interests.

I don't see how Trump raising the prices to Mar a Lago and his other courses by over 100% since his election is much better than the Clintons selling influence.
Really? You don;t see how raising prices at a golf course and the Saudis giving the Clintons millions is different?

Exactly.
It's no different than what Trump was doing when he suggested Ted Cruz's dad helped kill JFK.

my ebonics is rusty so excuse the fact that I read it in a comprehensible dialect...you know, English.
she has 1 name, and then you'll just have to take her word for it about the other 70 people...and the general 3rd grade assessment of when they play.
investigating it? sure, have at it. but she turned up snake eyes and tweeted she ID'd 4500.
no wrongdoing, slop journalism and then there is a point to say "we know who all of you are"...now she's going to get doxed.

So if I stay at a Trump resort and I'm a lobbyist does this fall under the same scenario? Seems a bit absurd

So rich people play golf and join exclusive golf clubs with exceptional courses owned by famous billionaires. This is literally worse than the Holocaust.

I'm sure the new member application process only takes a few months before joining at a place like Bedminster. And these members supposedly buying influence also felt the need to post their scores to GHIN on the days they were really at the golf club secretly meeting with Trump. Gotta ensure that handicap is accurate!
