So we're admitting our default position here is that it's a coverup and then it is on the Administration to prove it isn't a coverup?

Why capture him?
It may preserve an excuse to limit eyewitness testimony of the 5 Consulate survivors.

in reference to domestic affairs and the shite storm happening here with immigration/bergdahl/obama doing whatever the hell he wants, it seems awfully strange that this happened "today" when it would be real convenient that the administration needs some positive press

To some, the Administration is always fricking up and any "positive' news would therfore be simply a smokescreen.

My point is it doesn't matter when this guy was captured. Some would always claim that whenever it was announced, it was simply a coverup or a smokescreen for the perpetual frickups by the Administration.

Classic bait and switch.

Look who we captured. Don't look at the rest of the things we screwed up.

And then releasing him.

Why capture him? Now we've got to spend millions of dollars incarcerating him, putting him on trial, providing lawyers for his defense, etc.

So he can tell everybody that some video he saw on YouTube made him do it. Then he can be released as "not a big deal."

1) I'm glad we "captured" him

2) Timing is suspicious, considering the dude has been chatting it up with journos for the last year and a half about whether he headed up the attack or not

Coverups seem to be the administration's default position.

This is awesome news but curiously excellent timing. I won't bash Obama for doing what I've believed was right from the beginning. I'm just going to admire his outrageously good luck with the timing of his wins.

Trey Gowdy will undoubtedly praise this developing situation, considering he expressed a major fact-finding goal of the committee would be to uncover why so few arrests were not made/who is responsible

I wouldn't be surprised if this arrest was made at his urging.

I just hope Obama is watching CNN so he can find out about all this.
