I'm actually surprised by this, I kind of thought Trump wasn't bullshitting on his isolationism but I guess he really does just govern by whatever is on Fox at the time.

They've been saying this since Trump was elected, and yet he's still not in the administration

The drastically increased drone strikes and aid to Saudi Arabia and 1,000 boots on the ground in Syria and Tillerson laying the groundwork for war in Korea didn't tip you off?

Just an FYI-John Bolton circa 2017 is not the John Bolton of 2004. Now you may feel that being a neocon war expansionist that helped push us into Iraq gives him a lifelong disqualification. And you may be right. But he sounds more like Pat Buchanon these days than anything. He sounds more Fortress America than Neocon America every time I hear him.

Well there are all kinds of casualties in war, those who don't even know when they are under attack or what occurred when they were wonded.

My front seat in my aircraft walked into the full operation RPM speed of a Tail Rotor on a helicopter.

He survived, with considerable brain damage and later in his best destroyed memory - we had crashed and the main rotor had come down and hit him in the head, not true, but that was the best he could do to put what had happened to him together.

You on the other hand have all your faculties and cannot figure out we are fighting a war at home and abroad CURRENTLY

Please, no. His first order of business would be to bomb a girl's school. He's the worst person to ever have authority in the White House since Henry Kissinger.

So to answer your cryptic comment, you write something even more cryptic.

"Please enlighten me"
_______________

WE are already at war, at home and abroad. The President believes John Bolton is the type of person we need during this particular war. The President continues to setup his cabinet and advisers to win this war.

its hard to tell as he has been on every side of every issue, so you read what you want to. I never personally believed his isolationist tendencies, namely as he surrounded himself with non isolationists.

So the opposite of isolationism is endless, pointless small wars of aggression to preserve the US/Israel/KSA trifecta?

I really hate the word Isolationism. It's just a smear designed by the war mongers.

Would you please point in history the war that John Bolton won?

You are probably part of the group of people that still our intervention in the Middle East was worth it.
