Xavian Stapleton - ChargerDog91
According to several Twitter reports, Stapelton will miss 6 months due to ACL tear. Do Bundy and Darkhorse turn on Howland now for being to rough on players?...

re: Oxford takes down state flag on a 7-0 vote - ChargerDog91
Because a letter of Secession is the end all be all of why the Civil War happened. This isn't an argument of secession. It's an argument about why the Civil War was fought. According to the Constitution, the Confederate states had every right to Secede. But hey keep deflecting. ...

re: Oxford takes down state flag on a 7-0 vote - ChargerDog91
Right. High school history books taught me that slavery was the lone cause of the war. As a history minor in college (where they actually teach from more than one revisionist textbook), they taught us the war was fought over so many more things, and that slavery was merely a small ...
Wait seriously did your history classes not teach you about slavery?
Is the last history class you took in high school? All you learned was bullshitee revisionist history. Congrats!...

re: Nightcrawler = the new American Psycho - ChargerDog91
I'm not buying Gone Girl was a satire.
I haven't read Gone Girl completely but the movie basically made fun of Nancy Grace and her lunatic fanbase that jumps on cases and makes terrible assumptions about people. The movie is a huge satire in the sense that the national media usual...
Gone Girl, which while meant to be plausible was totally preposterous, instead.
That one completely went over your head too then. It was a satire in and of itself as well....

re: What are your thoughts on long toss drills in baseball? Overrated or helpful? - ChargerDog91
As a high school coach, I do use a bit of long toss program. The key thing is not to forget that a good weight program plays just as big a part of building arm strength and is probably more important than long toss. Having a strong core, lower body, and strong shoulders plays more into arm strength...
Unless he recorded it and hit send while he was crawling,
Nope. The phone was on the ground about a foot away the moment he got shot. It was about a 4 second window between coming out the door and getting shot. No way he unlocks his phone sends a text/recording in that time span....

At first I was thinking maybe Woodrough recorded the whole stand off with Holloway and sent it to CF and RM. But after rewatching... I don't think he had enough time to send any thing before Burris shot him. Thoughts?...

re: Mississippi school district fined $7500 for opening assembly with prayer - ChargerDog91
I hate taxpayer funded education.
Oh I agree. Federal inclusion in education is absolutely ludicrous. They've done nothing but hurt education the more they delved their hands into it. I'm all for privatizing education. ...

 Please please bring yourself to the Mississippi Delta and see if teachers deserve a 35k a year job. Ignorance abides in people who don't understand it though.
Setting a 75k minimum would just be a further fleecing of the taxpayers. It wouldn't change anything for the better. ...

re: Mississippi school district fined $7500 for opening assembly with prayer - ChargerDog91
You don't see a lot of good teachers anymore because it's shite pay for a huge babysitting job in a lot of public schools. Not to mention it's fairly easy to acquire a teaching license in most states. Didn't work out as a something, let me go teach so-and-so subject instead. By and large, the...

re: Mississippi school district fined $7500 for opening assembly with prayer - ChargerDog91
attitude's can and do change without corporal punishment, fwiw
As a teacher this is complete bs. Yes you can find a few children that will listen to verbal punishment and other forms of non-corporal punishment. That rhetoric doesn't work in impoverished area public schools. ...

re: Mississippi school district fined $7500 for opening assembly with prayer - ChargerDog91
The biggest issue in impoverished homes is that these kids begin kindergarten without ever having read a single word. In Mississippi there is a 3rd grade reading gate. The school I teach at set a goal of hopefully having 30% of students pass it. 30%!! When parents and adults don't do their job of ...

re: Mississippi school district fined $7500 for opening assembly with prayer - ChargerDog91
It beyond irks me that people like to spout off about shite they don't know. I'm sure onmymedicalgrind has never set foot in the Mississippi Delta. As a teacher I feel sorry for the kids, cause their parents/adults have severely let them down in the past and that's why the delta is where it is. You...
