Because it's not just for one plane but 3 planes. It's not just the plane they're buying but all the top secret gear they're putting into it and the furnishings that they will have.

It's an absolutely idiotic tweet because it suggests 4 billion just for a base model of the 747. It's also idiotic because the current planes are getting more and more expensive to take care of, they're over 30 years old and that is the end of their shelf life as the model of the 747 it is is not produced by Boeing anymore and is the only one of its kind flying.

It's an idiotic tweet because not every President after him will have his own private jet like he does and we need a safe plane for him that can meet the demands of the presidency.

I'm all for fiscal responsibility but this is just idiotic and some of the dumbest shite he's ever said but he has no filter so what's new.
