What are you talking about. He's signing a executive order that he thinks will take precedent over a clearly worded Constitutional Amendment. How is that starting a conversation?
The words in the first sentence of the Amendment couldn't be clearer.

And the "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States" is clearly referencing the person born, not the parents.

Obama essentially neutered Border Patrol through department memos. It was so bad that drug mules would cross the border, drop their packages, find the closest highway and flag down BP or have someone call BP to come pick them up and take them to the border where they would be allowed to go back across. One BP agent told me they were essentially a free taxi service for the cartels.

I am firmly on board with abolishing this amendment. The Left always wants to be like Europe, where at least one parent has to be a citizen in order for the child to have birthright citizenship. The USA should adopt such a policy.
