Therein lies the wiggle room. It can and should be decided that Citizen parents of another country who spit out a baby in the US should not allow their baby to automatically be granted US citizenship
It should require one of the parents to already hold US citizenship

The democrats and open borders people have long interpreted this section of the 14th amendment to support anchor babies. In fact, it does no such thing. A foreigner visiting the United States is not "subject to the jurisdiction of the United States" as evidenced by the fact that 1. they do not have to file and pay taxes and 2. they have to go home after some predetermined period of time.
So you see, simply being born in the United States is not enough to convey citizenship. There is another qualifier there.

No. It's not. At all, actually.
In fact, there's a clear question as to whether it is legal or required under US law. Supreme Court has NEVER ruled on the issue (other than a passing footnote in Plyler v. Doe, which is dicta).

Assume that a Russian family visits a Trump property with the intent to give birth, and while here, they commit a crime. Or they try to avoid paying for rental fees at the property.

Illegal immigrants are subject to the jurisdiction of the US you imbecile. That clause was written for Native American tribes who were not subject to the sovereignty of the US.

One thing you learn in dealing with contracts or law is there are no "extraneous" words. Interestingly, the 14th Amendment does NOT say:

Most of what Congress does is screw up the fix up from what previous Congress's screwed up in the 1st place.
Congress is the solution to the mess they made, just ask them. Some will even try to convince you there needs to be more govt. to fix the mess made by less than ever increasing govt..
