ETA: he went after Comey & even Mueller too. Says he interviewed Mueller as a replacement for Comey when he was appointed SC. Also isn't sure about Rosenstein & McCabe. Conflict of interests everywhere (per Trump).

It has been reported Session offered to resign but Trump declined.
As an attorney, Sessions knows how to keep his hands clean. Recusal was the right move on his part.
