It seems to me that civil liberties would be high on the list with Trump support base.

I personally don't care if you burn the flag; makes it easier to find the Commies.

What do you think about this?

I think he tweets out shite like this whenever he needs the press to chase it. Instead of harping on something like a HHS secretary who is pro-privatization.

It's become obvious to us Trumpkins. He's good at it, but the fake news sites are really dumb too.

Media and Dems spend all day defending flag burning.

Well played.

As long as there are people that get red in the face about burning the flag there will be assholes that seek attention by burning the flag.

IMO you're a scum bag if you seek attention by destroying things that other people hold dear, much the same as the a-hole rag heads the destroyed all the christian and Buddhist statues in Iraq and Afghanistan, but if you pay for the flag then really you can do what you want with it. These arse hats really want to make a statement? Come try to take down MY flag and burn it, let's see how dedicated to your cause you really are.

More TrumpBlather. Up to 90% of his tweets should be disregarded as the product of personal bile, not intellectual acuity.

No, imbeciles, I've never burned a flag.

I don't think the libertarian types who supported Trump will be pleased about this.

I voted for Trump. I'm actively rooting for Trump. And all I want for Christmas is for him to retire from twitter.

Answer me this. If it is okay with you to burn the flag as an expression of freedom of speech with no repercussion from the law, then why isn't it okay for someone to spray paint "frick you Harry Reid" on the front door to the halls of Congress as an act freedom of speech? You'd get your arse arrested in a New York second if you did that.

If we're talking freedom of speech here, then what's the difference?

Flag burning is illegal.

But it's been held constitutional.

I think everyone even on this hell hole of a board would agree with that even if they deny it. Obamas "he was playing golf" hyperbole will soon become trumps "he was tweeting something like a preteen" if something goes wrong.

Loss of citizenship is a good idea. It's easy to be a drama queen, but whenever stakes are involved, well shite gets different...

Because you are defacing something that does not individually belong to you.

Nothing would happen if you painted frick You Harry Reidi on your own house (apart from a fine if you live in one of those communities that controls what color the house is, etc).

Nothing should happen to me if I burned the flag that belongs to me.

Something should happen if I burned your flag or the flag at the library.
