I like DT, but I like the 1st Adm. as well. Remember everyone, the 1st Adm protects speech YOU hate, not speech YOU like.

I don't like people burning the flag, but people should have the right to do so without the threat of being put in jail.

Lol @ anyone who thinks Trump is being serious.

Disappointing that anyone who ever claimed to love liberty could justify, rationalize, or dismiss this.

Trump's nature (just as Clinton) is hard core authoritarian. Glad he won. But he has little knowledge or regard for the Constitution, imo. For him to be successful and not a complete disaster, it will require supporters to help him by being honest and holding him accountable.

Answer me this. If it is okay with you to burn the flag as an expression of freedom of speech with no repercussion from the law, then why isn't it okay for someone to spray paint "frick you Harry Reid" on the front door to the halls of Congress as an act freedom of speech? You'd get your arse arrested in a New York second if you did that.

If we're talking freedom of speech here, then what's the difference?

Are you stupid?

Make it a misdemeanor fine of $100 to burn a flag at a demonstration. Charge everyone taking part in it. Send ALL of the money to a veterans fund that helps pay for prosthetic devices or service dogs for veterans disabled by the religion of peace.
