I direct you to my previous post: One of the reasons Trump pulled out of the Paris agreement was precisely because he didn't "want countries laughing at us anymore."

On the contrary. The reason we have the strongest economy and the strongest military is because we do not do things the way the rest of the world does.
Why do liberals want to be like Europe so badly? The Euro is slowly falling apart. Terrorist attacks every week. Asking for our protection against China and Russia.....and yet liberals want to be just like them. Or want them to like us.

That's their exact problem, they're still in their 30's and 40's trying to fit in. They won't try to fit in with us because we were born into the same life as them but are so much more sucessful, they'll never catch up. So instead, they look to fit in with people less fortunate than them so that they can still look down on them and at the same time feel like they're superior, which is no better than white trash being racist with the mentality "at leat I'm not black."

I said nothing about them laughing at us. They have taken advantage of us for years...so yes...they probably are laughing at us.
MY position is screw them. I don't care if they like us or not. Liberals are the one running around this board saying they are scared of what other countries think about us.

There is a lot to like about Europe. But liberals ignore fundamental differences that make European social programs and initiatives entirely untenable in the United States.

Been to Europe many times, and I do like it. But you are making the correct point. It won't work here, and it isn't working there. (Greece is a nice example, but there are more)

exactly. i really enjoy visiting copenhagen because i'm a huge cyclist and the 'upside down' nature of that city where 90% of the people ride bikes and the other 10% drive cars is cycling nirvana to me.
however its because of the ridiculous tax and fee structure on automobiles and socialistic government that forces everyone who isn't rich to use bikes and the fact the geography of the city is small; you can get literally anywhere on a bike in 10 minutes.
nice to visit, would simply never work in the US.

Yeah, it's called the Green Climate Fund. We give billions, trillion before the centuries end to 3rd world countries "who can't afford to address their climate needs" and the leaders of those countries will use that money for themselves to continue to suppress their people. It's why the whole thing is just about globalist re-distribution of wealth! He's been told that several times on several threads, he just likes repeating what CNN says.

I do believe this was one of the reasons this country was founded. Amazing how many now want to revert back to the reasons that prompted our forefathers to get the hell out of Europe.
