Democrats have been dividing Americans into their factions and playing those factions against each other, almost as long as there has been a Democrat party. Those chickens are coming home to roost, because the masses are finally getting wise to the fact that most of the politicians from both parties couldn't give a shite less about any of those factions, as long as they are in charge.
The media is just freaking out, because they are realizing that the jig is up for them too.
Trump has brought it all home. In 8 years, Americans may well be more united than ever before. Democrats have to do everything they can to stop it, because it will be the end of their party for generations.

False. It's just that Liberals are the ones out of power now and with the media being on their side they just have more of a voice so that it just seems that way.
Since the height of the Democratic Party's power in 2008-2009 the party has lost a net of 12 Governorships, 974 state legislature seats, 11 seats in the Senate, 61 seats in the House, lost a stalemate/majority-with-swingvote on SCOTUS and lost the White House. So depending on the side you are looking at things from he either helped divide people from the Democratic Party or unite them into the GOP.

Obama had the first chance to finally squash racism in this country: The first black President. After politicizing every horrible crime, Trayvon comments, sending officials to funerals of black people while ignoring others, pandering to low income neighborhoods, not offering solutions, playing the race card, etc., he has set this country back decades.
Even had his wife publicly talking about race and how "bad" she had it.
