A review of the amount of (unaudited) of US Debt outstanding back through the Civil War shows that the last time the US Federal Government had a debt decrease between years was when Republican Eisenhower was President in 1957 and 1958. He cut the amount of US Debt by $2 Billion each year from $274 Billion in 1956 to $273 Billion in 1957 and again to $271 Billion in 1958. No President besides President Donald Trump has cut the amount of US Debt by $100 Billion ever.

Things like this is the reason why I voted for him.

Things like this is the reason the Establishment on BOTH sides hates everything he does.... that's their money.
Corruption makes them all rich

I'm not attacking this one way or the other bc i truly don't know. Can someone please tell me what this means? Because currently the US debt sits at 19,975 ×billion roughly. That is over a 2% increase since Sep which is in Trump's wheelhouse. Obama's last year was an increase of 1.8 %. Someone educate me.

Well you better let the administration know so they can stop wasting any political capital on raising the debt ceiling.

And yet they try and claim Our President hasn't done anything. The fake media is so dishonest.

Can you explain to me how Trump has achieved this? I'll wait. Even a cursory outline will do.

The department heads aren't spending as much money as allocated from Congress. There was a post yesterday there some people are planning to sue because Trump and his administration isn't spending allocated money

I believe there are federal hiring freezes still at work. Along with the elimination of regulations rule to create new ones, that reduces future workload and the need to hire. The adminstration is also clearly not advancing certain pet project government agencies regarding the arts and things of that nature, which slows down spending.
Also, I imagine not passing certain legislation has paid dividends as well, even if not intentionally, because substantial changes in law require a work force increase to implement.
Probably why I prefer deadlock in many respects.

Trump didn't become president until Jan, so using numbers back to Sept aren't a true reflection of what he's done. He couldn't help Obama was busy trying to match the debt he ran up with the previous 43 presidents combined before he left office.

Amazing this post is already at the bottom of the second page and this is the sole reason why everything we are witnessing is happening.
The national Debt is running backwards and the establishment can't stand for it.

This is what should be getting play.

China and Japan have been dumping US. Bonds for a while. So the Gov is forced to buy back its debt with cash on hand.

I don't even know why. How does it hurt them? They should be touting this as a GOP accomplishment

You don't have 100 billion in corruption without the senate knowing about it!
How do you think these senators that make less than me and live in 4 million dollar homes, most with multiple houses all over the US, how do they get all that money?
It is killing them that Trump shut off a small percentage of the corrupt monies. This isn't a republican/Democrat issue. Unless you're good with raising taxes to keep funneling money to these cowards then Trump is your only hope
