That alternate reality cesspool has been a reality tv shitshow for decades now. Where have you been?

We've known that R's reelection chances depend on healthcare for a long time now.

I think the Republicans are screwed either way here. Option 1, you pass turd AHCA and when it fails (for the same reasons Obamacare is failing) and get blamed for it or (2) you vote it down and risk not getting a bill passed prior to 2018.

At that point you risk losing Congress and will forever be remembered for having passed nothing when you control every branch of the federal government.

Then when Obamacare implodes for good, single payer is the way forward because people will believe you don't actually have an answer.

Considering the number of Obama related threads on this page, Obama is living rent free in most posters heads.

Shouldn't access to healthcare be a basic human right like water? The problem with our healthcare system is greed. Bottom line. The problem with American society is greed and unsustainable materialism. The present economic system is unsustainable and will collapse in the not too distant future. The self serving, competitive attitude of the majority of humans has almost convinced me that the human race is not worth saving.

This is the guy. This is the guy that's going to make "Never was an Obama."

That's what the truck is going to look like. Just so you know.

This whole thread is advocating passing a turd and fricking the Republican Party for years (if not decades) solely to erase Obama's legacy.

You know the real way to ruin Obama's legacy? Actually fix healthcare.

It's weird how polarized people can get. Until we get GOOD legislation that starts to address the real problems in healthcare, nothing is a "victory" in my eyes.

The only way Government can fix healthcare is to get the Frick out of messing with it.

Government intervention is what caused the whole damn problem in the first place.

1965 Congress passes Medicaid and Medicare, while at the same time restricting the supply of doctors.

1972 Congress enacted legislation that restricted the supply of hospitals by requiring federal certificate-of-need for the construction of medical facilities

1984 Drug Price Competition and Patent Term Restoration Act permitted the extension of patents beyond 20 years

1986, Congress enacted the Emergency Medical Treatment & Labor Act (EMTALA) to ensure public access to emergency services regardless of ability to pay

2003 Medicare Prescription Drug, Improvement, and Modernization Act provided subsidies to the elderly for drugs

Medical costs completely followed inflation until after 1965 when its current trajectory of high costs started.

Access isn't what is realistically being demanded.

Some of us want the USA to return to what it was- not this pussy- footing PC bullshite that it was for the last 8 years. UNDER OBAMA.

Healthcare will be fixed; but we first need to stop the bleeding.

So suck it up, Nancy.

I wouldn't either. His legal aid team is advising him of that; I'm sure.

But there is plenty of smoke; and an orange real estate mogul outfoxed him! Ain't life grande?

Nah, my dad was in the Navy in Vietnam and told me how much of a bitch McCain was and always will be. It was always about political gain with Senator John McCain.

Great you know how to do it?

Pass this.

Yet the GOP won't do it even though the bill is already drafted.

Get rid of the socialist bulkshit now; and amend it as needed. I don't see your big problem with this, Nancy.
