If this legislation passes, Trump could basically wash his hands with the Obama legacy. The crucial element of sealing Obama's demigod status to the socialist elite of the left.

Yes. A cheeto- stained, real-estate mogul, reality TV star is the one that is going to bring down the legacy of the Black Jesus's presidency, when, if lucky, his name will be listed shortly after the likes of Nixon. He will be remembered for the scandal of all scandals.

And, say what you want, but Trump, the man responsible for revealing the Obama Oz behind the curtain, he will have done it the American way!

And didn't have to cry on the world stage to do it! MAGA bitches!!

Just wakin up in the morning gotta thank God

It's weird how polarized people can get. Until we get GOOD legislation that starts to address the real problems in healthcare, nothing is a "victory" in my eyes.

Jesus. Trump has turned Washington into a reality TV show and The duck dynasty crowd is eating it up.

Not surprising to see the Betas eat this stuff up.

Why are people so worried about Obama? The AHCA is garbage yet people want it passed solely for some revenge against Obama.

Who shoved this socialist idea down the throat of the American people? I was doing just fine in a free market deciding what was best for me. Now, you got your answer.

I agree with this. This new healthcare bill is just a SLIGHTLY smaller pile of garbage than Obamacare. I don't understand how anyone is celebrating or spiking the football.

No spiking the football. This will be one first down on the game winning drive for the ultimate win- when it no longer exists and we have a better policy. That final policy is the end game; not this first down to keep the drive alive.

Well most of the policy underpinning Obamacare was written by a conservative think tank.

Either way, AHCA really isn't going to change this.

No I really don't. If you want the free market to decide things why are you supporting the AHCA (other than it gives you some revenge on Obama). If you want the free market to decide you should be lobbying for Rand Paul's bill.

LULZ. It was your boy who instituted it. It was your boy that had to pass it for us to see what was in it. It was your boy.

Let's be clear. I disliked Obama. Did not vote for the guy, and would love to see Obamacare gone.

You still haven't given me a reason why AHCA aka "Obamacare-lite" is good. It is a turd of a bill.

It's a start. It gives us the momentum for the future to change it.

That is an insane assumption and a terrible analogy.

Why not just actually fix it now? Why do people buy this bullshite excuse.

That is essentially the equivalent of saying "pass it to find out what is in it." There are huge issues with Obamacare and Trumpcare, yet we are going to continue this policy and keep kicking the can down the road?

This path is how we wind up with single payer.

They may.

I get it. But right now with the history of the Republican Party; I think Trump is playing 4-D chess. He wasn't lying when he told them that their future elections depends on this on Monday.

Like I said, hope for the best; but it's a beginning point.

No matter what, Obama will always be in Trump's head. He can't and won't let it go.
