You have no concern for these refugees. All you care about is salivating over the fact that Trump is being stymied in his approach to find a way to make this country just a couple of notches safer for its citizens

When Trump has actually taken meaningful actions to safeguard this country against terrorism, I will support him 100%. This bullshite EO that he rolled out was not that. It was for show when he failed to include in the ban all of the countries that harbor the types of people that have done the most harm to our country.

What should scare you is that the guy that said he had a plan and was going to save us, doesn't have a plan. He didn't have a plan for repeal and replace, so he rolled out an EO that "eased the burdens of the ACA," whatever that means. People ate it up though, that he was doing something, even if that something is really nothing. This immigration ban is the same thing, it's something for show to sell this idea that he's delivering on promises. It has no effect but to buy him time with the public, because he has no plan. He had months to get his ducks in a row and this is what we're left with. They're just making it up as they go along.

But forget about that. This is about the law. The amount of opposition this ban faces from legal experts would indicate that there are some incongruencies with constitutional law. We will see. I'm not going to pretend to be a legal expert. This will either hold up or it won't. The president isn't entitled to implement his EOs unchallenged.

What do Muslims have to do with my statement?

I'm not going to chase your rabbit. You don't understand because you don't want to.

Typical.

You do realize you're completely misrepresenting the context, correct?
Really?
Well, let's see.

As an example, here is the 'context' of Comey's statement:
quote:

“I can’t sit here and offer an assurance that there is no risk associated with this.” "We can only query against that which we have collected. If someone has never made a ripple in the pond in Syria in a way that would get their identity or their interest reflected in our database, we can query our database until the cows come home but we are not going to — there will be nothing show up because we have no record on that person."

I think we should cut ties with Arabia, but money Trumps safety.

Stopping those countries isn't enough.

The latest terror acts were by Egyptian, UAE, and a Canadian right winger. I'm fine with the "ban". Let's include the places where the terrorists are actually coming from. It's common sense. Egypt and the UAE should have gone to the top of the list immediately. (fat chance)

What is our country coming to when a judge can halt a Homeland Security travel ban and anyone, even with bad intentions, can come into U.S.?

So you want to ban cars and illegal drugs also then? After all, they kill more people than your assault rifles

Cars and drugs are specifically designed to kill people in mass? Wow.... Learn something new everyday on here

Unfortunately they will not. Not a damn thing would be done to the judge who done this. He is now a lib hero.

Since we are speaking Hypotheticals....

IF, an immigrant allowed in the country(because of the judges lifting of the ban) was to harm a family member of mine, I would harm the judge.

You bet. Just as an assault rifle can be used to kill. It's the intention of the object, not the object itself.

Gotta love Toddy implying that states have a say-so in immigration, when it was just a couple of years ago that he was on here spewing venom about how Arizona couldn't do a goddamn thing about their illegals.

Sweet little life you're carving out for your children, there, Dems... a poorer and less safe country. But you can suck a dick and force people to hire you even if you're a lazy slug, so I guess there's that.

Besides killing... What else is an assault rifle good for? Gardening?

Pretty sure the intent for building a car is transportation. The intent for producing an assault rifle is to kill.

Nice try tho

If you think it's bad for the president to unilaterally ban travel, you should hate that a judge unilaterally unbanned it.

At least Trump has the benefit of intel and authority. Just because you agree with something doesn't make it right. This judge has no clue what the current risk levels might be.

Sure it is but what that car is used for is up to the driver. Hammers are made for nailing shite, just not your head.
