Also, it's not our money, it's Mexico's, so who cares?

Weird that Trump hasn't said anything about Mexico paying for it since his phone call with Nieto.

This is really the crux of the matter. It's not just about the wall. You have to take the carrot away. Then hit them with the stick till they run to the other side of the fence
Wrong. A shitty life in American is still infinitely better than a shitty life south of the United States of America. The problem is that the country they come from are shitty.....they need to stay and fix their own damn country.

How is it weird? He agreed to not publicly talk about Mexico paying for it.

I think in 20 years, this wall will be a punchline and no one will admit to having been in support of its construction.

A year ago...did you think that Donald Trump being POTUS was just a punchline?

Ummmmm.

I think you're mistaken in your interpretation of the events leading up to the dismantling of the Berlin Wall.

But maybe I missed the coverage of that "unified invading force" you are referring to.

Nah.

I've lived in Texas my entire life and hope they actually build the fricking thing.

If it means running into one or two less illegals in my deer stand down south every season then it's worth it to me right there.

Berlin Wall FAIL

You do realize the difference of a wall within a country and one separating countries?

You are a moron. The Berlin wall worked fine until the force of the United States destroying the Soviet Union happened.

It will do nothing to stop illegal aliens from coming across.
Hungary and Israel disagree.

Sure, people will cross, but they will not flood across like they're doing now. A wall would absolutely work.

Yep. Not having one is dumb.

So let's drop BILLIONS into a wall that can be scaled with a $10 ladder.

And don't worry about the two enormous bodies of water on each side of the continent either. Illegals are too stupid to row.

Screw it.

I'm in.

MAGA.

Building a wall alone is ineffective. We need your idea but also an increased presence on the border.
An RFI (previously discussed) went out from the Department of Homeland Security as a precursor to an RFQ to come out in the fall. It's for 200 surveillance towers to be be built and deployed along the border, with new technologies that allow the towers to "see" in night or day, rain or shine, 24/7 any illegal crossings and to quickly alert the US Border Patrol.

With 10,000 new border agents, a wall and the new towers and other surveillance technologies, we can put a real dent in illegal crossings.

Just be prepared for longer lines coming back in from Mexico if you're driving.

Yeah. God forbid we make it a little harder to get here. I mean, we should make it as easy as possible and not send any type of message that suggests that illegal immigration will no longer be tolerated. We waste billions are far worse on a monthly basis, but keep repeating your stupid talking points.
