The irony is that all of these pro life republicans are all up in arms about the little future Democrat / welfare fetuses being aborted.

I just can't understand the math. "Blah, blah, blah budget deficit...we must spend 10x as much on our military as any other country on earth EVERY YEAR! And we must eliminate access to federally legal abortions! But we must also restrict access to the morning after pill! Basically, we want to spend as much money as possible all the while complaining about our country's lack of fiscal conservatism!"

fricking. Stupid.

Not to mention the politics of it - however many abortions there have been I think it likely at least 66% would vote democrat.

That's pretty ignorant behavior for someone with so much education.

the transmission rate of herpes from women to men is something like 1 in 1000 if there's no current outbreak. And I check to see if there's a current outbreak before I consider not wrapping.

So the republicans should be in favor of murdering them. Cool, like the Dems, anything to secure victory, correct?

You are a moron. Can you visualize her cervix before deciding? Women can have painless eruptions on the cervix and they have no clue.

You really check a map to see where current outbreaks of herpes are before you have sex with someone ? Good God, man. Please, just stop.

I know you created an alter because you ruined your other name. You've ruined this one with that comment and it's time to choose another one. I suggest SirLiesALot.

According to studies done by Valtrex, these are the rates of transmission per year of regular sex: If partners avoid sex during outbreaks: 4% chance transmission from female to male; 8% male to female

That's PER YEAR (ie: 180 sessions or 1 every 2 days). There is very little risk.

You really check herpes outbreak maps before you have sex? Why do you do something ridiculous like that if the risk is so low? FYI, Realdolls don't carry herpes. It's an unnecessary step.

The only people I'd like to sit down and talk to about abortions is the ones who call themselves Christians then vote Democrat. And I have . The 1st question is that if you really believe you sit in judgement before god when you die, just what do you think he or she, whatever God is, would say about killing the very image of himself? I mean if you REALLY believe, how can you vote with the party that basically is killing your God's most precious gift to man? To me, you can't really believe. And I'm no Christain, kinda agnostic . But that's a question I'd like any Democrat who claims to be Christian to answer.

You can try to regulate all the clinics in Texas into closure.

But people will find a way.

Abortion was happening before it was legal.

And abortion will happen even if you manage to try to prevent it through semi-legal legislation.

Welcome to the future.

And the republicans wonder why they continue to get their arse kicked in national elections.

So America is really no longer a Christian nation? I mean not really ? And this argument does have a place in this debate. Oh and again I'm no Christian. Hell not even close.

we were never a "Christian nation". That was one of the major points of founding America in the first place - freedom from religious persecution.

Arguably our greatest founders were Agnostic/Atheist - Ben Franklin and Thomas Jefferson among others.

Until the 14th Amendment, many states had state established religions.
