After all, it was taken out of the classrooms for PC reasons. And by doing so, what was accomplished?

History books don't tell the whole story and certainly taught with biased instructors.

Media spins the real story's and is regurgitated as propaganda.

What's next? Street names, flags, will "ol glory" remain?

Where's this end and does it?

Not in my school or classroom. As a school we say it every morning and if something happens and the school dosnt do it, I make my class do it.

Not here. It's recited every morning at my kids' schools.

I live in a pretty liberal part of Atlanta (City of Decatur) and my child's elementary school says it every morning. The school is full of liberal parents and teachers but they still understand the importance of the Pledge of Allegiance and sense of pride in our country, dare I say "nationalism" .

Sorry, you seem to prefer to use the Constitution as toilet paper instead.

I'm glad to hear it's still being said. See, all you hear on MSM is how it's being taken out of schools.

Everyone, even the immigrants, should have pride in the country they choose to live in. I believe assimilation is the term?

A leftist will pull the constitution card on saying the pledge of allegiance? Meanwhile they reject an elected president and want him impeached bc their lil hilldawg was defeated.

Where does the constitution say you can't pray at a high school event? It just says congress can't make a law enacting a national religion.

agreed, i don't see anything messed up about making kids give a pledge allegiance to something they dont' have the mental capacity to understand...

is this really a big deal? will your life be forever altered because kids aren't reciting a pledge of allegiance they don't think twice about before or after they say it?

The Pledge of Allegiance was written and solicited to school superintendents by Francis Bellamy, who was a Socialist. Indoctrinating children to blind obedience of the State and its symbols is the act of an authoritarian regime, not a Republic that values individual liberty.

There's a movement starting to end the playing of the anthem before professional sporting events.

The Constitution says that the SCOTUS determines this. And the SCOTUS has - for both prayer and the pledge. Deal with it.

What could be more Marxist than having small children pledge fealty to a flag and a sovereign?
