Require that players stand for the NA or get heavily fined; enough to hurt, or stop playing the NA at the games. I would support the latter.

It's like "the thing to do now" we have 8 year olds doing it that have no clue why.
I'd say stop playing the NA. Which sucks because it's always been a patriotic thing for me before events. Sad it's come to this shite.

The owners need to step up and tell the players how it's going to be. If you're on the field for the anthem, you will act respectful. You act up, immediate 1 game (and paycheck) suspension. You are welcome to stay in the locker room until it is over if you so desire. Hell, they could even tell the announcers who is doing it so they get their attention. Goodell should have put a stop to this at the very beginning. The inmates are running the asylum now.

I agree with a fine or staying in locker room. Don't bid them the time and tell the audience who stayed behind. They are looking for attention.

The solution is simple
"All players must stand in a respectful manner for ALL national anthems, regardless of country. Saluting or respectful gestures are allowed but not required. Disrespectful gestures are not allowed."
Something like that, doctor up the language to provide some examples.
In other words you don't have to cheerlead the anthem of any country, but you must show respect, be it US, Canada, Mexico, England, whatever.
The NFL has plays to go international. They can't have players dissing national anthems of any country.

It most certainly will. The only people that actually care that's a Trump has called out atheletes are hippies on the west coast. The whites in the rust belt are going to eat this shite up. Rust belt whites are what won Trump the election and they'll win him the next one too because of shite like this and the statue bullshite.
