There is no good deal, tell me what bill gets both the Pro Planned Parenthood Republicans and the Pro-life hardliners, the Freedom Caucus types and the Republicans who want to protect the Medicaid Expansion.

I mean hell, there are Freedom Caucus members who want Insurance Companies to be able to deny pre-existing conditions again and won't vote yes on any bill that doesn't do that despite the vast majority Congressmen and Senators vowing to protect and retain that element of the ACA.

There's a reason it took 9+ months, hundreds of proposed amendments, dozens of committee hearings and thousands of town halls for the Democrats to slowly pass the ACA through Congress.

That's roughly 2900 days to come up with a repeal and replace. They failed miserably. They can all go seriously frick themselves.

Only explanation for this is that they never thought Trump would win the presidency, so they never prepared to have a real bill ready that could pass through Congress. None of that crap that was put on Obama's desk was legitimate.

Why? Everyone agrees it's a horrible bill.

No they don't. There is only about 20 hard no votes in the house right now.

Ironically, what makes this bill "horrible" seems to be Obamacare holdover features.

And Trump is a fraud in addition to being unable to reach a deal with a Republican-controlled Congress. He promised during the campaign that his replacement for the ACA would cover EVERYBODY and it would be much, much better. Well the bill he's pushing in the Congress would hurt a lot of the same folks in the working class who voted for Trump, who acted as though he was for them. Trump is a lying joke and a con man, as those people who were defrauded at his Trump University can verify.

The House and Senate have had 7 years to put something together and yet they have stood there with their dicks in their hand, while saying we have the bills, but can't pass them because Obama will veto them.

Exactly. They have absolutely no excuse for having to rush to put an ad hoc bill together in a couple months' time. It's obvious these clowns haven't thought much about it other than simply wanting to repeal the ACA. What a bunch of lying a-holes. It's obvious they do not really care if millions of people end up with no healthcare. It goes back to their ideology, which basically says, "I've got mine, screw everyone else."

I am no Trump fan, but this bill is not failing because of him. This is all on Ryan & House Republicans.

Do you support it because it's a good plan or because Trump supports it?

It was obvious to anyone with a brain that congress was just whipping the unwashed masses (poli board types) with all those repeal votes. No substance. No principles. No leadership.

This bill is an unforgivable screwup, and Trump will have a hard time recovering from this fiasco. Expect Republicans to endure huge losses in the midterms, as did the Dems in 1994.
