So if you do something unwise that endangers somebody's life you DO deserve to die?

That's what Rex is... A little fluffy Ball of Hate.

Let's just ban all 9 year olds and move on.

While it was poor judgement on all of the adults involved, it does not constitute the death of someone. I love how the bleeding hearts are so supportive of this mans death, yet are so up in arms over the Mike Brown death. Pretty hypocritical.

That's a truly hateful statement.

It's Rex. What else would you expect?

I can't believe that the instructor agreed to this. How in anyway did he think this was wise. I also worry about the psychological impacts on the girl. PTSD doesn't always just go away with time or gets treated with meds.

The most a 9 year old child should be firing is a lever action or bolt action .22 short. And no way near a semi-automatic yet alone an automatic. I thought automatics were illegal.

True happiness is when you think you've already downvoted a Rex post, but do it again to make sure and the number of his downvotes increases.

Just pointing out 2 reckless idiots(a trigger happy cop & gun nut range instructor) with guns .

Fortunately this instructor put his big jug head in the way or the little girl may have killed herself just as the 8 year old Mass. boy (Christopher Bizilj) did several years ago.

Or could have killed someone else on the range.

Aren't you the same idiot that said "it's easy to convert a semi-automatic weapon into an automatic weapon" the other day?

Yeah, shut up, your opinion is worth precisely shite here.

Saying the guy deserved to die is pretty shitty but I do question his expertise if he thought this was safe.

This this this. That is an awful lot of recoil to control at any age/ability and if there is no hard shut potentially very dangerous to the shooter and anyone in proximity. I don't plan on watching thevideo but from the preview still the instructor seems to be right next to/over her shoulder. II'm not sure how much assistance he's offering but he assumes a lot of risk being in that proximity.

Putting a gun with a 9 year old is depraved indifference. Just stupid

But you don't find it odd for 9 year olds to be firing machine guns

This comment is absolutely ignorant, stupid, and baseless. I know many children younger than 9 that shoot guns as did I when I was that age. It has very little to do with age, and more to do with responsibility, and education.

It is however very irresponsible, and negligent to even think of letting a 9yo shoot an Uzi sub machine gun. Still no one under any circumstace deserved to lose their life over this.

Psst! The "responsible educator" was the one killed.

I know! Let's put these "gun educated" morons in our schools.

Rex's comment is disgusting, inexcusable

It's no worse than the myriad of comments regarding 'Darwinism at work' when someone dies in the line of stupid human tricks.

quote:

ANOTHER Double Darwin--this train death has the editors railing against stupidity.
(2 March 2014, Rotterdam, Netherlands) Two apparently intoxicated men dared each other to test their courage against an intercity train at a Rotterdam train station. At 1800 hours on a Sunday night, the station was crowded with more than 300 fans returning from a soccer-match pitting Feyenoord against Ajax at De Kuip, the most beautiful soccer stadium in Holland.

The two men stepped off the platform and strode forth onto the tracks. One superdaredevil lay down between the tracks, intending to prove that the entire train would pass over him. What a story to tell! His friend was less confident and he merely knelt down next to the track and kept his head as close as possible to where he thought the train's profile would be. Turns out that the 130 km/h train that came down the track some seconds later was both lower and wider than they thought. They were killed instantly.

The 300+ onlookers on the platform were none too pleased by the spectacle, and train traffic was interrupted for several hours while authorities cleaned up the mess.

Darwin Awards

In the past, people on the board would say they were so stupid, they deserved what they got.

But I suspect since the OP was regarding firearms training, we are supposed to hold it to a different standard.

I took Rex's comment just as I would take a comment on a Darwin Award.

With this kind of fricked up thinking you deserved to die with your medical conditions. As a two time big shot CFO and multiple homeowner you were too fricking cheap to buy health insurance until someone else covered your costs.

fricking idiot.

Don't you have a gay rights rally to attend?

Seriously you equate the two things as equal is pretty telling. Like I SAID. Not with an Uzi fricktard!! My 5yo daughter, and nephew shoot, are very safe, but again not with a fricking Uzi. If you don't like my opinion pertaining to firearms who cares.

Point remains the same though. The instructor's life did not deserve to be taken as th OP stated.
