quote:

In the October edition of his newsletter, “The Gloom, Boom & Doom Report,” in a section discussing capitalism versus socialism, Faber criticized the move to tear down monuments commemorating the U.S. Civil War military leaders of the Confederacy, and said:

“Thank God white people populated America, not the blacks. Otherwise, the US would look like Zimbabwe, which it might look like one day anyway, but at least America enjoyed 200 years in the economic and political sun under a white majority.”

“I am not a racist,” Faber continued, “but the reality - no matter how politically incorrect - needs to be spelled out as well.”

It’s nice to see some people aren’t scared to say what they think

Faber's a squint-eyed old fool, less useful than even fellow permabear David Stockman.

Interesting since Timbuktu had the world's first university. Of course, that was before white occupation and taking over of places in Africa and creating a welfare state and disenfranchising its own citizens.

It's easy to see what you want to see when you don't want to have to acknowledge the generations and hundreds of years that black people have been bred for certain features, that have been enslaved, generations of shity Education because they weren't allowed to go to the same school as whites, and then had a very hard time landing similar jobs as white people.

I know it's easier to just assume that they're not good enough and that you're so much genetically Superior but that just isn't the case.

Maybe he is wrong and the U.S. would be far more prosperous if the blacks had populated it but then please explain to me why you would think so

Please link me to any historical or modern day evidence to support your argument that we would not be Zimbabwe. I’ll wait.

Nobody thinks you’re racist. But they do know you’re a fricking idiot.

Being racist and being realistic don’t need to be mutually exclusive.

Listen here retard. I know you've been indoctrinated by years and years of listening to angry Republican radio but let me tell you a thing or two. Arguments don't work that way. You don't get to just make an outrageous claim and then tell people to disprove that outrageous claim. You would know that if you weren't a f****** gullible retard that's been brainwashed

No was is saying that there is a genetic difference. It's cultural and value differences, which happens after birth. It is fixable but it has to start from the inside.

It's funny how pro-america some of you guys are but yet the black population is completely segregated in your minds.

I would say since theyre in America it's kind of everyone's problem and considering the generations of complete negligence and hatred that has befallen them over the years it's a little condescending of you or anyone else to sit there and tell them that they need to fix it from the inside.

Part of the problem is that the right-wing doesn't really value education and if we had a much better educational system you would have higher efficacy towards society and in the black community.

And the Egyptians, Greeks and Italians (even if we call them Romans) all were the apex of western civilization and culture at one point. Just like this university you hold up as some touchstone of leading thought, though, all these are centuries in the past.

If it is heresy to suggest that Lincoln (in the 1860's) or even the Republicans that passed the VRA and CRA (in the 1960's) are emblematic of today's GOP, how does this random factoid have any bearing on the fact that virtually every African country for the last 100 years has been a basket case of corruption and poverty?

Southern has a University too. I'm not sure either proves anything as far as 'progress' goes, tho

So what’s you’re saying is there isn’t any? Glad you concede and we agree. Saves us both a lot of time.
