quote:

Hart walked in to Starbucks on East Boulevard in Dilworth on Wednesday morning, wearing a Donald Trump t-shirt. Instead of being greeted with a smile, Kayla said the cashier laughed and her order was labeled with a political message, mocking her support for the president.

Starbucks response:

quote:

FOX 46 Charlotte also reached out to Starbucks to get results. The station received the following response: "We failed to meet this customer's expectations of us, and we have apologized and are working directly with her to make it right. This experience is not consistent with our standards or the welcoming and respectful experience we aim to provide every customer who visit our stores. We have spoken with our store partners about this situation and are using this as a coaching opportunity for the future," Starbucks said in a statement.

When the leadership of starbucks continually makes public statements about the President, the employees feel free to follow that example.

I hope the american people force them out of business.

Proper customer response: "haha, you fricking work at Starbucks"

Don't be a bitch and cry to the news.

Yeah, get some thicker skin, or wear different clothes. Sometimes a "frick you too, honey" is entirely appropriate in the world we live in, unfortunately.

No. Crying to the press is exactly what needs to happen to teach idiots they can't get away with harassment like this.

I would've laughed at and berated that barista until it cried and quit.

Oh what some friggin BS. Thicker skin...? What...?

I'm a paying customer, I will voice my opinion and I will get the word out. If this is how they want to run their business then the AMERICAN PEOPLE should be made aware and let the "Market" decide if they want to keep them in business.

Sounds like a liberal hipster was trying to jeopardize their career in bean slinging.

You sure there are enough Trump supporters left to do that?

I'd just "politely" remind them that they work at Starbucks and left it at that. No need to cry about it to the media.

People that small and irrelevant aren't worth the time and effort.

I also don't understand why anyone would get coffee there. Sure, some of the specialty drinks are pretty good. But you can get a better pure cup of coffee at fricking Dunkin Donuts and much cheaper.

Starbucks coffee always tastes burnt

I don't see how someone can wear a Trump shirt and not be ready for someone to say something or get looks. I do when I wear mine and I love it. LOVE IT.
