The reason for this thread is because the main battle cry in this whole ordeal is the choke hold, against police policy right?

Not right.

2. The autopsy didn't call asphyxiation as the cause of death. He died because he was in a struggle and it was toouch for his heart. I can recall at least 2 other deaths where a criminal died similarly. Also my company had a senior executive who died while being kidnapped from similar causes.

No. That's not what the autopsy said. It said he died from compression of the neck. If you have additional information, please feel free to add.

who? I know you want it to be true to soothe your insatiable thirst for reparations but discussing the semantics of the term being thrown around "choke hold" is all that's being discussed in this thread.

Firstly, at "insatiable thirst for reparations"

Secondly, I posted:

but if someone is defending the cop on this one

and it wasn't even directed at you, but you got defensive. Hmmm, interesting.

Where is the autopsy report that everyone is reading? I've been looking and have had no success. Not a story, or a journalist's report, but the actual autopsy report that was presented to the grand jury.

It isn't bargaining time...it isn't negotiating time...it isn't plea your case time...it's time to get your arse on the f ing ground time

I agreed with grand jury in Ferguson....but this was flat out homicide in New York....and I am as far right as can be.

Agreed. This is not a race issue on the surface IMO either. Plus the crime commited (black market cigs) is absurd to justify this

I'll read it. You can go ahead and get out of my thread since you're incapable of discussion without hurling insults. That's about right for someone as close minded as you.

Compression in the neck restricted blood flow to the brain.

Sure I know the difference (I went to the school of laws, bro). Generically speaking, when people run around screaming murder, they tend to be referring to the premeditated type, and my commentary in this thread has simply taken that for granted.

But whether you call it first or second degree, I see no glaring signs that it was either.

I'm on the side of the folks saying, "This is wrong." My point is simply that we as a society should get our facts straight before we go about burning people at the stake. After all, when prosecutors feel public pressure to bring murder charges when murder clearly wasn't present, that's a sure fire way to bring the charge people want while ensuring nothing truly comes of it. Let's be more responsible before we run about dropping the M bomb every time someone dies in a racially sensitive case. In so doing, some of these people may actually be charged with the correct thing in the first place.

Yea ahhhhh.. I'm not an expert on LE, but I do know when a cop tells you to do something, you freaking do it. You can work out all the violations, poor attitudes, offending people later.

There seems to be a general lack of respect for police these days.

There's alot of thuggish behavior and wrongful actions by police, don't get me wrong, but I have no problem with this. You want the cop to do a medical background on the guy before he arrests him?

The arrestee put himself in this situation, not the cop...just like Michael Brown

You only think I'm close minded because I don't agree with you. Your logic on this is as self-serving and ridiculous as I've seen here.
