If I was king, I would force every American to read thomas sowell's "ethnic America" bc it becomes clear that what most folks ascribe to race is pure nonsense. Simply put, someone from a rural area will more likely have a lower iq than a city person. That's universal all over the world. The important thing to remember is that iq doesn't stay low generation after generation, it tends to rise (the Flynn effect). Jewish immigrants to America were considered dumb until they start kicking azz at cuny. Black soldiers from north tested better on average than white soldiers from the south. The list goes on.

This. My girlfriend is from S. Vietnam. Both of her children are college students making straight A's and she keeps on them big time. She's also a great mother and her kids are straight arrow nerds. My kids just wanted to finish college and move on despite us pushing them to work hard. Lots of culture stuff going on that you cannot even begin to start discussing here.

IMHO, it's a comparison worthy of contrast and analysis. There differences and similarities. The similarities are not to be dismissed in any rational analysis.

The reason why those who try to rationally analyze these kinds of issues are immediately attacked and called names is because the New Left Radicals currently running the country know that they must suppress rational analysis of their "wedge tactics" that keep us at each other's throats.
