Edibles last 2-3 times longer than smoking it. I actually kinda hate edibles. Also, your friend probably ate 20-30x the need dose. It's very easy to do. Try that with any other drug, and your friend would be dead.

He is dead now, he moved to heroin a few months after trying marijuana and he overdosed on a lethal combination of marijuana and heroin

Sessions won't be able to do shite, quit worrying. It would be political suicide at this point for Trump if his AG hard-lined weed. What needs to happen, and Trump needs to push for, is removing weed from all federal jurisdiction. Then Sessions opinion means jack shite. Then the states can decide how they want to approach the issue, and what we'll see is eventual 50 state decriminalization.

I'm not in a legal state anymore. But with pot being a billion dollar industry, it's not going anywhere. Finally, the money is beginning to balance out.

Exactly. And with most states in the red on their budgets, this is the wrong thing to attack. Money talks, public opinion has shifted, Sessions is a dinosaur that saw Reefer Madness one too many times.
My main concern is controlled immigration. I would hope the U.S. would adopt a point based system like so many countries do. We are way, way too lax on who we let come here. I think Sessions will hard-line that issue, and for that, I'll deal with the shitty aspects.

Nope, not a ride. That's called progress. And if Trump makes good on his promise to heavily invest in infrastructure projects, you'll be seeing those booms all over the place.

Too many psychedelics will fry your brain. I've seen it happen to several people. Used occasionally, they can be very beneficial to treat depression and anxiety problems, and a helluva lot of fun. But too much can cause problems.
That said, eating LSD and drumming in a Second Line during Mardi Gras, was the most fun I've had in years. I look forward to doing it again next year.
I consider those hard drugs, because there very powerful, and shouldn't be taken frivolously. But, I still highly recommend them to any adult.
