This dude is such a twat.

quote:

In the ’80s and ’90s, we saw how campaigns stressing prevention brought down drug use and addiction. We can do this again. Educating people and telling them the terrible truth about drugs and addiction will result in better choices. We can reduce the use of drugs, save lives and turn back the surge in crime that inevitably follows in the wake of increased drug abuse.

Those worked really well. No one did drugs in the 80s and 90s
quote:

And I am astonished to hear people suggest that we can solve our heroin crisis by legalizing marijuana – so people can trade one life-wrecking dependency for another that’s only slightly less awful. Our nation needs to say clearly once again that using drugs will destroy your life.

I see his point that he doesn't want a pot shop on everything street but come on, the world isn't black and white. These people are no different than the Prohibitionist of the early 1900s.

Sessions is a moron and so are the people on this board who think he was a good pick.

Trump knew this before he hired him. He traded Sessions' immigration stance for his ridiculous stance on the War on Drugs.

Elections have consequences.

Well he's right. Heroin is fricking awesome. Weed can't compete with that.

I'll let Penn from Penn and Teller show how much good the government has done when it comes to heroin particularly: LINK

Seriously, what an a-hole.

Yeah, he's certainly the worst pick of the administration. There's nothing I like about him. Good job on picking someone who can compare to Eric Holder, who I thought was a pretty unrivaled piece of shite.

For you pro-pot guys - where is the line? Is pot ok to be legal? What about cocaine? What about heroin? Should it all just be legal and c'est la vie?

I'm not trying to be a smartass. I really want to know where you draw the line.

In my opinion, it should be regulated not be made illegal. Look at the heroin video I posted. If it were regulated from the start, it'd still be 5% pure instead of 80-90% as it is today. So yes, they should be legal, although heroin is one that's iffy with me. Cocaine and weed though, absolutely.

Put all the poisonous, addictive stuff together in the already established stores, ya know, the liquor stores.

Put the non addictive, non lethal stuff behind the counters of places that sell other adult only stuff to only adults.

Has Sessions ever seen a marijuana addict that looked any thing like a Heroin addict?
