You guys say this all the time. Is it because you know nothing illegal happened, but you wish something illegal had?

What he did was totally illegal. No doubt about that. But, as in the past, when he wanted it his way, he got it his way. The American people, who do not like his way, are sol. We have no one in the house or the senate who will stand against him. I wish they would, but as of yet, they haven't.

I've said it before.

Don't confuse impeachment with a criminal proceeding. You need not violate a statute.

You could be impeached for general malfeasance or neglect if the political will is there. Of course, it's not.

There were no consequences for the hundreds of lies he's told. Executive privilege got him out of any consequences inre F&F. I think his hands are dirty inre the IRS, but nothing will come of it.

As long as the Fourth Estate refuses to do their job, he'll remain largely unscathed.

I think many (perhaps most) here incorrectly believe he DID do something illegal and just believe that the liberal media and spineless Congress wont hold him accountable.

Saying they know he did nothing wrong and are just hedging their bets is giving many here too much credit.

What Obama did was detrimental to party relations, misguided and arrogant but as of now perfectly legal.

Are you saying that if anyone never faces any consequences that means they did nothing illegal?

If it was as blatantly illegal as you claim, Congress would already be drafting articles of impeachment. Despite what many here seem to believe, the president WOULD NOT simply get away with literally committing what amounts to a federal offense.

Huge difference between disseminating misinformation and committing a crime against the United States government.

His actions have already reaped unpleasant consequences. He's managed to lose majorities in both houses of Congress. Right now he is the Republican's best friend.

Hate to break it to you but all politicians lie or bend the truth.

If you just think its Obama or Dems then you need a reality check.

Please don't throw me in that briar patch'

If there were Senate Democrats that actually had any principles, they'd support removal.

There aren't.

No, this clown won't.

The political reality is that this obama fool will not face any consequences because he is the first black president of the US.

You know it, I know it and worst of all, this obama fool knows it.

And to top it off, millions of fools just like you, will buy his ghost-written memoirs, spend hundreds of $$$ to go to his speeches, and fawn all over his butt.

You people are pathetic.

No, it's because the opposition party has no balls and are more concerned with not rocking the boat so as to not offend anybody before the next election, when they again start talking tough. Obama knows the Republicans are paper tigers and will do him no harm.

I am not a lawyer so I don't know if what Obama has done is illegal, but what Reid has allowed Obama to do, as far as encroaching on the separation of powers is damaging.

If the old Grand Kleagle was still alive, he wouldn't have allowed Obama to do that.

The legislative branch better hope they get some leaders who will be willing to re-assert the authority of its branch, whether the POTUS is of their party or not.

You are missing the supposed point.

The frustration isn't just the lies.

It's the fact that they are getting away with absurdly egregious ones when we are just coming from a presidency where literally the usage of every syllable was scrutinized for political capital.

If he worked for an insurance company and he committed that fraud, it would be incriminating
