So we actually understand what we're debating. Below are two fairly simple breakdowns:

LINK

The devils is in the details, and Trump's plan has many more of these little pesky things. Ryan's plan is a plan that has few to no details, and somewhat mirrors the House's 2016 plan.

I could get more detailed, but to summarize, in my opinion Ryan needs primaried. I get tired of alleged conservatives and libertarians actually leaning left, and plenty of people fall for it. One need only look at the rumors of Ryan's budget ideas.

I'm not a huge fan of Ryan. But this has been tried.

Why cant Ryan and Trump merge the two ideas and come out with a plan C?

Ryan doesn't want to be speaker. He would give it up if someone else would take the job.

His family has a history of heart failure and being the speaker is a little to stressful.

Pretty much sums up his entire political career.

Off topic, but Trump needs to do this, or go down trying. While the health care bill was only marginally better than what was there present, the Republicans in Congress are doing everything in their power to prove yet once again they can't govern from either the majority or minority. There is nothing stopping them from passing the original bill ,and later amending it. Except tehir complete lack of leadership and courage. This is exactly why some of us voted the way we did last cycles, and this is exactly what I had predicted ad nauseam.

Back to taxes, anyone that thinks Ryan is their conservative libertarian hero is frankly wrong.

Below is a link. Forget their analysis as the tax policy center is almost always wrong and retroactively amends their projections without ever admitting this, but read through this briefly to see where Ryan's head is at.

Ryan has no NEEDs related to being primaried.

You have the wish and need for him to be primaried.

If we were to accept your common south Louisiana usage of "need" in which you project your needs onto another person, you would still have to add the words TO BE, as: NEEDS TO BE primaried.

He won't last if he can't get anything done. If he gets anything done, while Trump will appreciate it, you won't.

What the hell did you read? I saw basically the same level of detail in your links. I really, really doubt Trump is more detailed than Ryan.

Please do give us some of these pesky things.

I seem some merit in both the proposals. Overall Trump cuts more, but has a much bigger deficit.

What's amazing is that he plans aren't that different. People are just chomping on hooks thrown out for the purpose of getting Team Trump angry at GOPE Republicans.

I like how Ryan limiting itemized deductions more than Trump's limiting of itemization means Ryan is somehow engaging in, basically, treason.

I'm not from Louisiana. Given the amount of time I spend on the east coast, this is somewhat laughable. Although I enjoy fishing and some other things Southerners like.

And I disagree, he will last. They, the permaelected, always last.

Or you could explain exactly why the differences are so meaningful, and why Trump's is superior + more "conservative".

Would you please sit tight mate? If Ryan goofs this up then he goofs it up. But a lot of speculation at this point, those links don't show anything incremental.

You didn't read all the assumptions that need to be made for Ryan's / 2016 House plan? Like repeal of Pease, or cap. losses limited to $1,500? You don't think these would have an impact on investments?

Again if you ignore the TPC's analysis, as one should do, and read the details of where Ryan gets his ideas from, you among all people should be screaming. Up until you just posted, I didn't realize you supported a border tax in the form Ryan is favoring.

Under Ryan's plan most people that itemize are going to get a 3% rate cut, which is likely an increase after the repeal of Pease.
