It's still stupid. Kwh is a measurement of time or more simply watts
used over a period of an hour.

It's not even about who is right or wrong in the Ukraine conflict. It's about countering when someone shits on your head over and over. If when we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan... Mexico and Canada started shitting on our heads, I'd fully expect us to stop dealing with Mexico and Canada.
I don't know shite about pipelines but I imagine the process of reversing the flow of hydrocarbons isn't as simple as putting your car in reverse.

Only because that’s a convention you know. A kw-hr is an amount of energy. Natural gas could be measured that way if one knew the energy density of the gas.

I am assuming it transfers custody at the Russian border. But even if Europe was to shut a valve they have no more supply. And Russia could pull gas back out of the line if their plants are bidirectional. They could actually compress gas the opposite way by manipulating valves
