Russia Reverses Gas Flow of Key Pipeline Serving Europe

Part of a key pipeline transporting natural gas from Russia to Europe suddenly reversed its flow direction Tuesday, Reuters reported.
Flows in the Yamal-Europe pipeline, which sends natural gas to Germany via Poland, were recorded going eastward away from Europe on Tuesday morning, data from the European firm Gascade showed, Reuters reported, citing data from German network operator Gascade. Flows leaving Germany were moving at a whopping 4.3 million kilowatt-hours per hour at one section of the pipeline.
The pipeline is operated by the Russian state-owned energy giant Gazprom and is one of three routes the company uses to export natural gas to western Europe. The Yamal-Europe pipeline is responsible for 10% of the region’s natural gas supplies, meaning a substantial flow shift could lead to much higher energy prices for many European consumers.
Overall, Russia is responsible for approximately 47% of European gas imports, the most recent Eurostat data showed.

I've worked for pipelines in the US for 20 years, never seen those units.
Nat gas is expressed in Bcf/day

From Reuters:
Flows to Germany via the Mallnow metering point stood at about 101,119 kilowatt hours per hour (kWh/h) earlier on Friday morning and were about 13.5 million kilowatt hours per hour overnight.
Russian energy company Gazprom on Thursday resumed westbound natural gas supplies via the Yamal-Europe pipeline to Germany from Poland and booked 7.8 million kilowatt-hours per hour of gas transit capacity via the pipeline for Friday morning until Saturday morning.

Russia is slow as frick. Western Europe has been sanctioning Russia. They've been brutally going after wealthy Russians and stealing their shite.. but Russia only just now stops the oil flow?
It's not even about who is right or wrong in the Ukraine conflict. It's about countering when someone shits on your head over and over. If when we invaded Iraq and Afghanistan... Mexico and Canada started shitting on our heads, I'd fully expect us to stop dealing with Mexico and Canada.
