Got any more details than that or are you talking about that debunked crap where he was speaking in front of the MS state flag?

Didn't McDaniel campaign on shrinking government?
Are you equating shrinking government with cutting off benefits cold turkey?

What specifically does Rush assert Cochran did wrong?

It doesn't matter what he did, the only way to get rid of Harry Ried is by winning more senate seats.
The truth is politics is dirty, but there can be cross over voting in Mississippi, as long as they didn't vote in the original election, it is what it is.
Maybe Mac thought he had it won ( looking at polls ) and didn't work as hard as he could.

Cochran/Progs just assume that Black are idiots; fire a shot in the air...and they stampede in fear.
Conservatives need to EXPLAIN to the Black (and White, Hispanic, et al) electorate, just WHERE the money is coming from. And point to the debt clock, and let them all know that just like any credit card...when the credit limit is reached...it's END OF MONEY...all at one time. Cut off. Period. End of show. And that is where we are headed if things don't change.
God Almighty...tell the WHOLE TRUTH...for a change. People will always be inclined to take the easier way...but they are not stupid. Most will respect honest. Well....hmmm...maybe not so much.

No, I'm simply pointing out that trying to define what's dirty and what's not in politics is ridiculous. Both sides do this sort of thing all the time.

Yeah - that's politics.
Just like republicans saying Obama will take away your bible and your gun. And just like democrats saying republicans hate women and want to re-enslave blacks. There is absolutely nothing unique about this race.

How is it that democrats are allowed to vote in a Republican primary?

MS law allows for open primaries, under the theory that it increases participation in the voting process.
My understanding is that there have been attempts to change this before but they get blocked.

Oh, it's unique, Want. Party siding with ideological political opposition to win against same-party opponent who holds views that their Party is ASSUMED to promote. Cochran has just confirmed the suspicions of many true Conservatives. The RINOS have "reached out" until the "fundamental change" is upon us.
The days of reaching....out...are pretty much over. Should the *Moderate* Muslims...'reach out' to their Fundies?
It's all or nothing...for Totalitarians.
Whatever. Mother Nature/Good Lord always handles this stuff. Sooner or later.

Cochran reached out to more moderate voters. That's what the more moderate candidate does.
Yes, because a group that votes 90+% for one party every election is a bunch of moderates.
You're full on retarded, you fricking hack.

The next time Ole Miss has a head football opening, why do t you let the AD's at Miss State and Alabama vote for your new head coach. That is what happened in Mississippi yesterday. The Democrat voters selected the Republican candidate to run against their guy.

It was like this in Louisiana for Presidential primaries until recently. You could vote in one or the other, but not both. They changed that just last cycle.
This isn't a MS issue.

For a more direct example, the U. of Alabama - Tuscaloosa board members torpedoed an attempt by the U of Alabama - Birmingham football team to hire a new coach a few years back. Some nobody named Jimbo who had been an offensive coordinator somewhere.
Whatever became of him? Oh, wait, he won a title at Florida State this year.

And the RINOS helped them.
Cochran's days of being schmoozed everywhere he walks...are OVER. He won. So did Obama. The man may well be cursed if he appears on the street; especially as things continue the downward spiral. Thanks to the Party he has now "reached out" to.
