That's fine, I have no problem prosecuting him for anything outside of leaking any docs that showed the government broke the law. Anything that was out side the whistle blowing is fair game.
No I didn't see the movie nor read a wiki. I have simple and basic thoughts on this. The government doesn't get to do what it wants and just claim it isclassified and then throw whoever blows the whistle gets thrown in jail. If that's not what you are saying I apologize for assuming and take back what I said.
Just assumed you were like many on here and any stance against the IC was frowned upon and Snowden was a POS for say anything blah blah blah.
But since you want to discuss, what did Snowden do that would be mark him as a traitor etc?

A large majority of the information that he leaked had nothing to do with the privacy of Americans. He did significant damage to several intelligence efforts around the world. He didn't use proper process for exposing the legitimate information he did have. His reasons for doing it aren't what have been stated. He ran to two of our biggest adversaries with the information he had.
The list goes on, but he's certainly not the hero many make him out to be.

Wikileaks does thorough confirmation of material they publish. Not once in 10 years of exposing material has any of their released info been proven to be false.
