Yes, motherfricker. In utero paternity testing does exist.

It bothers me when people marginalize what this is as simply a "religious issue". It is about when life begins. I am pro life not bc the bible says so. I am pro life bc i believe a tiny human being who cannot protect his or herself is being killed.

This will win the day in 50 years much like slavery went by the wayside. The pro abortion fools will be regarded as unconscionable fiends at that time.

Proposed Bill Would Require Women To Ask Men's Permission To Have An Abortion
If anything, adding male consent to the equation implies it's an OK thing to do in the first place which sort of guts the idea that his anti-abortion stance is principled.

I don't presume it's anti-abortion. I presume it's for men's rights.
Men have zero rights when it comes to the birth of their children. But once it's born, they are financially obligated to pay for it whether they want to or not.
The logical gap in our society concerning this subject is absurd. Just reading the words would make any reasonable person cringe.

I don't presume it's anti-abortion. I presume it's for men's rights.
If one is anti-abortion, then fighting for the right of an individual(male or female) to have a say in ALLOWING abortions sort of negates the anti-abortion principle.
If anything, someone probably should fight for men's rights on abortion but that someone should probably be already FOR abortion rights.
Try reading my post better next time.

You told of a procedure that is done in the second trimester of a woman's pregnancy and is invasive.
Yep. I think abortion during the second trimester is horrible and really should be banned. If a person wants to have an abortion, they should do it during the first. That's before it's functioning and still merely a mass of cells. Second is when it becomes trickier and when I'm completely against it. Anyone regardless of circumstances can have an abortion before then, but when it reaches the second trimester, that's when it gets disturbing for everyone. Better to have it out of the way sooner rather than later. Less likely to do any more psychological damage than has already been done if it's a rape. Just get it done with when it's nothing more than a mass of cells that can't feel or think anything.

But what about your kid that you've planned out, can support, and love? What do these unwanted kids mean to them? I'll tell you what they mean, they mean to take the joyful moment you share with them away. And I don't like abortion. The thing is I don't want these kids to be conceived. I want these kids to practice safe sex and plan in advance, but when people half my age have kids, then it becomes an issue, an issue that all of society has to deal with.
And I assure that abstinence education isn't doing shite. When they give into their urges, they don't have a single weapon to counter conceiving a kid. It really sickens me when Bible Thumpers are against giving these people birth control, knowing that in the end, the lack of birth control will make sure we pay hundreds of billions of dollars correcting the issue instead of mere pennies stopping it in the first place. It's fricking ridiculous to me, but hey I'm sane.

Unless people become 100% responsible on sex and when they want a kid, then I assure you it's not going anywhere, and will likely gain more support when people actually think it through on what abortion has done for society. I think abortion is horrible, I don't like it, but so long as we have irresponsible people, then abortion will always be a necessary evil to a sane society.

Laugh all you want, the pro slavery folks had the same arguments.

Your argument is much more applicable to homosexuality than abortion. The view of gay marriage is trending towards being the norm in the decades to come, but there is no putting the toothpaste back in the tube with regards to abortion I'm afraid.

Actually, they used Bible verses to support their claim.

Don't want to get pregnant? Don't frick randoms if you're not prepared for the potential consequences.

My question is society prepared to deal with these frick ups?

In Freakonomics, they claim that abortion lowered crime rates. I agree with that. I wouldn't want my child aborted, but population control is an important public service. If the religious right gave in on sex-ed and contraception, there would be far fewer abortions.

If the religious right gave in on sex-ed and contraception, there would be far fewer abortions.
1)I've literally never met a single one of these theoretical 16 year olds who are unaware sex makes babies
2)Contraception is dirt cheap and the vast majority of abortions, despite the meme, are actually to women who are NOT dirt poor. In fact, for the most part, dirt poor women have their babies because, well, a person who can't afford cheap contraception is often hard pressed to put together the cash for an abortion.
