It’s almost like the media has y’all so fricked up that you think it’s impossible to support Trump and/or lean right without hating black people. Thats fricking absurd and you deserve whatever negative connotations come your way for being so dense

They are purple that didn't fit in as kids.

They may have been bullied. May have been goth or emo in high school. May have been/ still are fat.

Whatever it is they didn't fit in the the jocks, nerds, tech school kids, or even just plain Jane kids.

They were different.

And they found a herd of also strange people in their own way. These are strange people who often have mental disorders because they were odd as kids and didn't fit in.

Correct, unless you're a billionaire or religious zealot.

Maybe they were tired of the self realized moral superiority of the right? Let’s see, you have assumed drug use, anal sex and godlessness of other people based on political leaning. Obviously you wouldn’t be one of those soapbox types.

Progressive here. Born and raised in Louisiana, moved all over the US but went to college in Alabama and now live in SoCal. LGBT, regular ole family with parents still together, raised Catholic but I don’t believe in god anymore so I’d say I’m agnostic. Work in Real Estate Analytics for a large private company. Love this country and don’t think democrats have everything right, but they have it more right than republicans.

The Dims/Groomers/Progressives/Neo Cultural Marxists control every major US institution and the nation is on the brink of societal and economic collapse. Are you 100% positive the Dims have it more right than America First?

We have a separation of church and state. I didn’t vote for anyone in 2020. Why? Because Biden and Trump are two cognitively impaired and declining morons who are too old for public office.

Was that straight up enough for you?

I just cannot take y’all seriously when you say “Dims” and “Groomers”. It shows me that you’ve been brainwashed by Brietbart and such. But to answer your question, yes I’m sure. The reason why we’re not getting much done in congress anymore is because of the sharp divide and unwillingness to compromise, and I blame far right republicans for that. Sorry, it’s just the way I see it. Mike Johnson has impressed me though with his willingness to work with Democrats and we need more of that.

I believe this is true of most on this board but I will try to answer the OP. I always joke about “we need Dick Gephardt”. That’s the kind of liberal I am. Dull. Middle of the road. Try to help people who will help themselves. But the nonsense spewed by anyone today calling themselves progressive? Nope. Not me.

Born in early 70’s. In Louisiana with a farmer for a grandfather. He HATED Carter due to the grain embargo from the 70’s but everything else about him and our family would be liberal. Small family farmer. He lived on some subsidies. Fast forward to my Dad and being an O&G guy making a nice living until 1986. Dad was layed off from his job after 2-3 rounds of cuts. Reagan was the President. Boooo Reagan was the attitude in my house. I role out of college ready to vote Clinton in and Reagan’s VP out. Were we a flaming lib family? Hell no.

2 generations of people contradicting themselves because of who was in the big seat when shite flew. People who would have voted the other way if not for the President at the time of a change for the worse. Regardless of how much impact or control they actually had.

I am now over 50 and just a guy in the middle of the road. Racist or a Marxist depending on who you ask. I have nobody to vote for. I think Trump is a clown. I think Biden is a ghost of an old clown. If a republican came forward not trying to parrot trump, I’d vote republican. If a democrat came out not trying to sound like AOC, I’d vote for them. I honestly thought DeSantis was the answer until he looked so awkward in a couple of moments. I’d have voted for him over Biden. Trump? Gun to my head I’d pick him over Biden. He can still talk. But for Trump that’s a plus and a minus.

That’s it. That’s my story. Kind of dull and middle of the road. The way I’d like my President to be.

Had a discussion with a NOLA Jew today who said Trump has been running Israel for the last 8 years and this is all his fault. Said his sister had to move out of Israel that it was so bad.
A Jew defending the terrorists from Palestine. Dumbfounding.

When is the last time Dems were open to compromise?

Your loons in congress only believe in capitulation.

I think he means establishment Recucklicans in the House have lied repeatedly to their own constituents and assisted the Dims in pushing their Fundamental Transformation of America crapola.

Yo, if the shoe fits as they say. You are apparently not smart enough to realize that if you vote for anyone other than Trump you reelect Pedo Joe. You are just a fool.

I'm redpilled AF now but I can empathize. The media is a powerful force. I was caught up in the "Trump sucks" rhetoric leading up 2020 election. (now I'm of the strong opinion he's all time top 5) I didn't own a gun until I was 30+, even though I grew up hunting with my dad. now I've lost many to the cruel mistress of the sea. my ex-wife moved to Denver. If someone besides Biden had ran against Trump. who knows. Had I moved to Denver with ex wife I'd probably be a bleeding heart moron too. Like many of you, I'm sure, I was republican because my parents were. That's not enough. You need to be affected to be invested. You need to not only be able to think for yourself, you have to have a reason to do so. this is just to say, liberalism is very much a product of nurture before nature. honestly, this board saved my life in a certain sense. lol

Good for you.
