"I don't want to just hope the wind blows to light up your homes," he said last night at a Cedar Rapids, IA campaign rally.
Iowa gets almost a third of its energy from wind, the highest percentage of any state.
Trump has attacked wind power at rallies before. "The wind kills all your birds," Trump said at an August rally. "All your birds, killed. You know, the environmentalists never talk about that."

Are you saying that wind turbines don't kill birds? Or that it is reliable base load power given the fact that it doesn't produce if the wind doesn't blow?

1. On the Great Plains (that includes all of Iowa), the wind almost always blows. It is as reliable as the sun rising in the east.
2. Cell towers and power lines kill more birds than windmills. And the most recent study says the number of birds killed by windmills has had no real impact on US bird populations or species.
3. Donald Trump is a moron because he spouts garbage having done little or no research on it.

So Iowa gets "almost" a third of its energy from wind? Day in and day out? Or was this some "Peak Wind" day? Dont they grow corn for energy production IA? This sounds like trouble in River City.

Our dominant means to produce electricity is to heat water to produce steam that turns turbines.
We should put burn barrels under tanks of water all over the country and tell millenials that zim or zey was denied free access to gender fluidity at those places.
