Good Lord. Our president is such an idiot.

We should put burn barrels under tanks of water all over the country and tell millenials that zim or zey was denied free access to gender fluidity at those places.
There would be an outpouring of screams of racism from the libtards if this were implemented.

He has a point. Until energy storage becomes economic, the only choice you're left with if 100% of your energy comes from wind is to risk brown/blackouts.
Further, while Iowa has a lot of wind capacity, coal is still its primary source of energy (~47%). That compares to only about 19% for a "dirty" state like Louisiana.
Know what that means? Iowa has a lot of "clean energy" to appease people like you, while betting on the fact you're uninformed enough not to realize they're balancing out wind's unreliability with dirty, baseload coal.
It appears from your post their bet was right.

And the most recent study says the number of birds killed by windmills has had no real impact on US bird populations or species.
Funny, I don't see a link to this "most recent study."
Do 4 out of 5 Avian Experts agree?

Denmark gets nearly 40 percent of their power form wind, btw.
but of course the real point is that trump is for things like coal, and theres no way for him to rail against modern solar, so he says dumb shite like this.
as if the trumps actually give a shite about animals

What do you recommend we replace 30.4% of US energy with overnight?

2. Cell towers and power lines kill more birds than windmills. And the most recent study says the number of birds killed by windmills has had no real impact on US bird populations or species

or do you think maybe there was some planning involved?

This is just false - we're mining tons of clean burning coal now. Trump said it at his rallies many times, that I can tell you. It was one of his biggest selling points for coal.

You're the one who moans and complains like a girl when someone supports coal.
It will take years and years if not decades to move away from coal and multiply natural gas infrastructure and other forms of energy.
Coal will likely still be used in a considerable quantity for the next half century

Wind farms are extremely expensive to build the wall is peanuts compared.

George, you need to learn how to understand Trump ...how he talks and what he means....
You can't take him literally when he says "all your birds"

Iowa gets almost a third of its energy from wind, the highest percentage of any state.
Thats nice. What is the actual cost compared to other sources without subsidies?
