I am suggesting this article is a shite show. You seem to suggest his actions are based on his making a bad decision.

How many times are people doing to share this OBVIOUS bull shite story. I mean, do ANY of you fricks have critical thinking skills? I already addressed it in the other thread.

There is literally zero chance the reporter who wrote this story received a quote as he characterized it.

ZERO frickING CHANCE.

Not a fan of Trump but this isn't on his hands.

There are multiple layers of planners and approval authorities between the guys on the ground and Trump. If Trump approved this mission it was because that whole chain recommended he do so.

By far my biggest concern with Trump is stuff like this, and what he will do if and when something like this creates an international incident which could quickly spiral out of control.

In that case you are insane and not worthy of a moment's notice. You are a totally foolish fool.

I'm not saying he's personally at fault, although in light of this news, that will at least be suggested

Yeah, I'm sure Trump was sitting in on op planning. Maybe the squadron leader even asked for his input.

Give me a fricking break with this shite.

Literally FAKE NEWS

Absolutely. And it is getting to the point where the MSM does nothing else but propagate Fake News to smear Trump.

They are to be ignored.

The idea that USSOCOM would authorize a mission with unacceptable risk is insane. The idea that Trump would overrule USSOCOM is insane. I was IN that unit, so, I know what I'm talking about.

Obama's military operations killed many, many civilians via drone strikes. The reason why the MSM never told us about this is because they are Fake News outlets -- what they really are is the Information Ministry of the Democrat Party.

I read that someone tipped off Al Quaeda and that it was the Obama admin that had been planning the raid.

The military officials who spoke to Reuters on condition of anonymity said "a brutal firefight" killed Owens and at least 15 Yemeni women and children. One of the dead was the 8-year-old daughter of Anwar al-Awlaki, a militant killed by a 2011 U.S. drone strike.

Someone is Not Telling the Truth

quote:

In an interview with the Guardian, the girl’s grandfather, Nasser al-Awlaki, said he did not believe the Americans meant to kill his granddaughter. Nawar, who was staying at the house with her mother, was shot in the neck and died two hours later. “I don’t think this incident was intentional,” Nasser al-Awlaki said in a phone interview from Yemen. The elder Awlaki, a former government minister, said the village in which his granddaughter was staying was not an AQAP hotbed, but rather home to her uncles, tribal sheikhs who were actually fighting with the legal government of Yemen, which the ruling Iran-backed Houthi movement ousted in a coup. Awlaki said the exiled former government was sending arms to his relatives from its southern stronghold in Aden, to combat the Houthis. “If the Americans assumed that those arms were going to the hands of al-Qaida or something, I don’t know,” Nasser al-Awlaki said. “I cannot understand why the Americans use this big commando strike, which is similar to what happened to Osama bin Laden, in a small village in Yemen.”

I'd be willing to bet most of these "civilians" were wives and children of the terrorist. Where are her uncles? Did they die too?

Al Qaeda said in a statement that a senior leader and an unspecified number of other militants were killed. One U.S. soldier died in the assault, and a Pentagon spokesman alleged some of the women were firing at the U.S. force.

So I'm supposed to believe her tribal sheik uncles just so happen to live next door to Al-Qaeda terrorist...sounds like grandpaw needs a bullet next

Lets make this real simple. This mission had to get signed off by Mattis before it got signed off by Trump. MATTIS. I know for a fact both sides of the aisle respect that guy. /thread.
