I agree and I’m a vet that volunteered to go to Iraq during desert storm. No way I would risk a child for the trash in Washington DC. Our own representatives are the biggest enemy the people in the US have!
If he comes back from Baton Rouge and says dad I'm joining the Army; I'd say if you can do it with 2 broken legs I'll drop you off at MEPS!

When your children get to enlistment age and a recruiter calls, don’t ignore it, don’t hang up. Answer their questions and tell them incorrect medical information and it will be the last you hear from them. If not they will continue to harass you because it’s their job.
Buddy of mine I served with used to be a recruiting station commander and said something similar to this. My son is approaching military age and his mother and I are in agreement. I planned on just telling recruiters not to bother but this...I'll keep this in mind.

Now when it comes to a draft, idk how the govt will work it and it will probably come down to an evaluation to get a deferment vs taking the word of someone.
I would not be shocked DoD either gets rid of MHS Genesis or starts handing out med waivers like candy.

I’m 40, so I think I’m excluded, however, my eldest is 12. It seems awful young at first glance, however, we’re likely 2-3 years from the point of which a draft would be required. Then, that conflict is likely to wage on for a number of years..so, do I have a draft eligible son now, no. Am I concerned that I’ll have a draft eligible son when the shite is really hitting the fan…..yes.

do not want son serving in this current administration in DC
I’m 59 and medically unfit but it’s just as well. I’d die fighting the government if they tried to draft me is how I feel about the current USA.

I am too old. My grandsons are 1 and 3, too young. My daughter is going nowhere.
No White person should ever fight for American again. We have done our part. All this nation does is shite on White males, and expect us to pick up the tab.
Let the poc and illegals man the front lines.
