Gonna reiterate my view that there should be a special prosecutor at the state level for criminal cases involving cops so it doesn't go to the local DA who relies on them to make a living.

Agree with that. This seems obvious to me.

I'm sorry but frick that excuse. Everything he did/didn't do that led to that kid's death should be common fricking sense. Watching how calm he is in the video is disgusting too. He clearly didn't give a flying frick about what he just did.

I stand up for cops on here when they are routinely tossed under the bus, but this instance sounds dirty as hell.

The way to stop this is the come down with the fury of hell on dirty cops when they are found - and on anyone who tries to cover for them.

Yeah. One doesn't have to be trained to know a person with their hands restrained and without a proper flotation device will not be able swim very, easily if at all. So it's a good idea to make sure he's not going to end up in the water, and if he does, he had a flotation device to ensure he doesn't drown.

I mean imagine if an adult took a child who they knew was unable to swim out onto the water, and didn't didn't provide a flotation device or ensured that the child wouldn't call into the water.

Agree 100%. I don't care if they are in a fraternity or union or whatever, there is no excise for accepting, or worse supporting, obvious incompetence corruption. Expecially since it makes them all look bad.

That's a nice thought.

Still, I think I prefer we handle it here in the real world. You know, just in case...

Of course there would be questions and no reasonable person would conclude based on the facts that you just listed that the LEO was guilty of any form of murder.

We are talking about being guilty of a crime.
