Then you come to this board and only post the fourth theory. You don't mention that the other theories exist, that those other theories are equally plausible, and that they imply no wrongdoing.

First of all, That link contains many links to support that.

Second, there are other links within this thread to compliment that. The link that shows he changed, in his last month in office, the law to allow what happened.

The fact is, as is the norm for the leftists in this country, everything outside of your guy/gal is evil.

I'm good with that.... because the right is now awake and has begun to fight fire with fire!

This was nothing more than pure speculation by breitbart. In other words alternative facts by fake news.

Breitbart article that links to WaPo and more to make it's point. Glad to know that WaPo has entered your world of fake news!

The government routinely wiretaps the phones of foreign diplomats, especially Russian diplomats, in the USA.

Flynn called the Russian diplomat who was wiretapped, which is why his call was intercepted by the government.

So you are rejecting the fact that the Breitbart article you linked provides for four potential theories, of which you only presented one to this board?

It's pretty telling that even choosing a source whose bias is on the OP's side, he still picks the specific information, and disregards the alternatives, to confirm is bias.

It's confirmation bias squared.

Linking a Breitbart article that ha asolutely no sources when Bannon is at the very top of the administration is a sign of mental disease.

Please someone on this board directly address the fact that Breitbart sells sweatshirts, t-shirts, and hats on the front page of its news site.

LOL! The article has several links including the WaPo article. Is WaPo no longer real news?

The only problem is that the link to the WaPo was a fake link.

The Breitbart article said:
quote:

Whether Flynn deliberately concealed the contents of his conversation from Vice President Pence, or merely forgot what had been said, he was “caught” because the Department of Justice had been eavesdropping on the conversation. And one of the officials responsible for ordering the eavesdropping was none other than Acting Attorney General Sally Yates

The underlining/ italics was a link to the WaPo article.

Except that even though the WaPo artcle was reporting on similar events:

WaPo never said that the Department of Justice was eavesdropping on the conversation,

and WaPo never said that Sally Yates was one of the ones who ordered the eavesdropping.

You never read the WaPo article did you? Go take a look for yourself. See if it actually says what Breitbart said it does.

You see that's how Breitbart does it. Breitbart alleges to paraphrase (but never directly quotes) a legitamite new site, and then links you to a lengthy article on the same subject - but the linked article doesn't actually say whay Breitbart says it does.

They just figure that they can get away with it because people like you won't bother to read the WaPo artcle for themselves.

Worked like a charm, didn't it?

I just wanted to shamelessly bump my thread since more information is coming out.......

LINK

quote:

America's spies anonymously took down Michael Flynn. That is deeply worrying.

quote:

Flynn's ouster was a soft coup (or political assassination) engineered by anonymous intelligence community bureaucrats. The results might be salutary, but this isn't the way a liberal democracy is supposed to function.

quote:

It is the role of Congress to investigate the president and those who work for him. If Congress resists doing its duty, out of a mixture of self-interest and cowardice, the American people have no choice but to try and hold the government's feet to the fire, demanding action with phone calls, protests, and, ultimately, votes. That is a democratic response to the failure of democracy. Sitting back and letting shadowy, unaccountable agents of espionage do the job for us simply isn't an acceptable alternative. Down that path lies the end of democracy in America.
