OAN: 3 leakers identified, will be fired when Trump returns (?)

Two things that are confusing me:
Why wouldn't you fire them immediately? There's no requirement to "run by" OGE, and if they're leaking classified info I'd think you'd "run by" DoJ.
Why leak this? Especially if you haven't fired them? Is this just a planted story so they can observe who freaks out?

Maybe I'll trade some VIX on it tomorrow if it sets up right. Outside of that, I think I'll just wait and see.
It would be nice if we could get a tax cut and budget with significant spending cuts before this all blows up, if that is what is going to happen. And some decent weather for this weekend.
