I think the source is probably Mike Rogers himself, or maybe someone else very high-up in NSA. I say that because Nunes said in his presser: "NSA is very cooperative, FBI is not."

Then why wouldn't Rogers brief Nunes at NSA?

Nunes doesn't have access to the WH grounds. Someone has to act as liason for him to have met at a SCIF on WH grounds. The source is someone on WH grounds, period.

Be very careful with anything sourced to Heat Street.

CNN BREAKING NEWS: Nunes met with these people and they are still stuck up the pole. They let Schiff go after their clandestine meeting

My first thought was Bannon/Kushner because they work out of the Eisenhower Building but I'm now seeing where Nunes's former General Counsel just recently took a job at the NSC, which operates out of the same building.

Imagine if Elijah Cummings had been given some intelligence on Benghazi info during the Benghazi investigation and ran to Hillary Clinton with it instead of the committee. This board would have rightfully been beside themselves.
If Adam Schiff ran a lunch order over to Obama it would have been a conspiracy.

Lmao. I don't know the word for it; but it's when you actually feel embarrassment for someone else?

That's how I feel when I listen to all of these snowflakes fueling their day with idiocies about Trump and Russia.

They have already said that there were no findings of this in their investigations, but the holding out hope, for just that smidge of a chance that the election are to go in their favor is tragic if not terribly amusing.

Get on with your lives, losers.

Instead of truth and the importance of the truth being told and justice to be done, you are more worried about villainizing a man and assasinating his character so you can say you're right.

They have evidence. It's probably not in your favor. So be a man this time, accept it, and move on.

Nunes tipped WH that Epshteyn is under some type of investigation/surveillance. Epshteyn resigned few days later. Strong theory imo.

Mench is an agent of a foreign power, I think that is clear at this point. I am not sure what exactly she is doing for MI6, but it's clear she's working for them (at least indirectly). Does anyone but me find it odd that she goes from British parliament to American journalist?

This is why I will bet you a nickel that the sources for her story were MI6 or GCHQ people and did not originate with American officials (although I am sure Americans have been leaking as well).

Also, if I am right, this would lend some credence to Judge Nap's allegations about Britain's involvement in this whole thing.

However...

I do think her theory is interesting. But, she is wrong when she says this:

quote:

Further, Mr. Nunes’ rants about FISA warrants (plural – I have only reported one, more, clearly, may exist) ought not to be assumed to be fact free. Instead, they should be assumed to be a completely illegal and garbled recitation of classified information illegally acquired and distributed by Nunes. When he says what he read “did not relate to Russia” he means he read details of a money-laundering investigation under FISA (but it did relate to Russia). When Nunes says he “did not hear the word Russia” nor would he need to if he were illegally reading transcripts of conversations involving money laundering,

There is nothing "illegal" about Nunes having access to this info. He is on the Gang of Eight, for frick's sake. He is legally guaranteed such access. Our constitution requires our government to be completely overseen by elected people. This includes intelligence agencies.

McGrath is a true believer. He believes he's right. And nothing will change that.

Being in the Gang of Eight does not give him exclusive access to anything.

I would say it does if national security is at stake. Plus, like Trey Gowdy already mentioned, who can he share it with if not the POTUS?

If national security is at stake, the President would already know. The executive branch informs the Gang of Eight. They don't get to pick individual members.

I believe in facts. Is there anything in this thread beyond a fact that I "believe" in?

Here's the scoop on Nunes but none of you seem interested. Take a few minutes and read the letter sent threatening him. It's worth your time. I promise

No, you don't. You start from the assumption that the Democratic point of view is correct and then line up the facts to support it.

Liberals are being so intentionally stupid on this subject. Someone on the inside of government at some level is leaking Intel and unmasking sources. Some believe at high levels and they sure as hell aren't Trumpkins.

I understand Nunes forgoing the highly politicized dems on the Committee if he feels like the president is at risk. The idea that the president can't be briefed first on a potential national security issue is asinine.

But you can't be specific, so I guess this is just a "belief" of yours.

With everything we know about the leaks and surveillance you really believe this?

Feel free to note a post of yours where you agree the Democrats were wrong.
