They've produced a lot of negative results as well. We're getting to a point in our history where we're no longer primitive enough to need religion.
I beg to differ. As people move away from religion (specifically the Christian ethic and worldview), you see more and more clamor for destruction and desire to satisfy base urges. Human nature hasn't improved over time.

That's fine. Your agreement isn't important to me.

That's your opinion.

Sure, but that isn't the only variable. Maybe you and some others still need your religion to be decent people. Not all do.

You must be a scientist.

Got to give you credit for your consistency. I don't think I have ever seen you in a thread where you don't say this line or an offshoot of it.

You should be more amazed that people still think I will accept their opinions as points.

Well, if Bill Nye is one, I definitely am.

If Bill Nye wants to go over the kinematics and circuitry of an end effector, yeah he is a scientist.

On climatology, not really because it's not his field. On transgenderism/gender studies, well to be frank I'm not sure there is much of a scientific method going on at all across the board in that field.

I thought you might be.

Tell me, what's your position on Air Force tornadoes?

You keep saying this as if anyone is trying to impress you. But you do seem to care or think such statements are important enough to respond to it. It really does add nothing to the discussion to point out someone's opinion in a casual forum where people spend all day long giving their opinions.

Religion doesn't make someone decent, but a Christian worldview provides an objective basis for decency, unlike the atheistic model where we are just grown up germs in a cosmic accident heading along the path towards obliteration and nothingness.

Well, I specialize in bird science. Now, let's say you and I go toe-to-toe on bird science and see who comes out the victor?

I don't want it to be said that I ignored them.

Science, philosophy, education, etc. I sure hope you don't believe religion to be the only thing preventing human nature from turning us back into wild animals.

No, it doesn't.

unlike the atheistic model

See, here's your issue. Atheists don't rely on a contradictory book written thousands of years ago by primitives for their moral compasses. If you do, have at it. Just don't expect everyone to continue falling for it.

Only regarding their effect on birds.

They hurt them.
