I am a HUGE Trump supporter.....been that way for awhile.
However, I try to look at things in an honest way. I think it was wrong when Trump said the kids would run the business, yet he allows his daughter to sit in on a 45 min conversation with the Japanese PM. It's a massive conflict of interest. I know they said it was an informal meeting, but 45 min is a long informal meeting. If you do believe it was completely informal, then you must also believe the Bill Clinton/Lynch plane conversation was as well..
If I were a competitor in the hotel industry, I would feel like I am getting screwed.
It just really looks bad and def has some blurred lines. I think his kids can have some involvement, but they should not be in the room with world leaders unless press is there as well.
I know most of you will down vote the shite out of me, but I am trying to look at this from both ways, and the optics look bad for Trump. He needs to clarify ASAP!!

Everybody needs to just settle down and let things hit a rhythm. Even if I accept the premise of your post (which I find dubious), this nitpicking of every fart in the wind is just dumb. Give the man a chance to get his feet under him. Hell, even he's probably still thinking "I can't believe I actually won.".

If you owned a hotel chain or golf course that competed with Trump, would you really feel the same way?

You know... I think I agree with this. For the duration of his term, his family should pick sides. Family business or government. I'm fine either way but if they use their fathers position for business advantages then that is wrong.

I doubt any national secrets were discussed. Besides, he is not the president yet and seeing the melt from the left if enough of a reason to have her there. Trump has no power of state yet. People need to chill

I guess technically you're right. I just don't see this as the time to nitpick when the fate of Western Civilization hangs in the balance.

Exactly. And we will never know. I love Trump winning for countless reasons, but this is a problem he needs to consider.

I sure as hell would not think that the man who was just elected POTUS just spent 45 minutes worrying about how to get a leg up on my hotel in Japan. Even if he did, would 45 minutes be enough to put you out of business?

Relax.

there is nothing wrong with this

seems like she's interested in what the PM has to say and or her dad is giving her an oppurtunity to learn

I think "Sir Winston" you have joined a political cult and not realized it....or you are on with it.
And this is coming from someone who owns a "Make America Great Again" shirt and wore it all through the primaries. Let that sink in. I hope you don't like koolaide.

And if that is the case, I COMPLETELY redact my statement.
