North Korea has 40 Mig 29s

How difficult would it be to overcome this? In head-to-head combat, what would the likely outcome be? Is the F35/F22 > than the Mig 29?

The F-22 could shoot them all down without even knowing they were there.

Who do they have piloting said Migs?

F22s are decades ahead of Mig 29s.

35 year old technology. Klimov's smoke so badly, you can literally see them miles away.

The NKs would be overwhelmed.... Quickly.

They would be engaged by F35s and F15s and be obliterated. The tech, support systems, and maintenance of these planes is far superior to anything NOKO has, but the real difference is the amount of flight hours the pilots have.
Our pilots log more training and flight hours than most of the developed world and that's a big reason our air superiority exists. It's perhaps the most underrated aspect.
F22s would run intercept and escort sorties to monitor interference from the people we actually worry about.

The more important question, I think, is whether these MiG 29's would even get airborne.
U.S. airpower targets airbases right away and keeps them on lockdown. In Desert Storm, some Iraqi fighter planes where shot down within a minute of leaving the runway.

Korean pilots go 35 in the fast lane with their flashers on.

LMAO. Any aircraft North Korea puts in the air will be shot down without so much as causing a scratch to our planes. THAT is how dominant we are in air to air technology.
There is a reason Saddam started flying his aircraft to Iran during the first Gulf War. He had MiG-29's too and that was 30 years ago.
SAM's are the biggest threat to our aircraft.

That was my thought as well. They'd have maybe 3 in the sky before the whole damn base is obliterated.

Literally anything in active service for us that flies can take those out. If they were engaged by f15s or f22s, I can all but guarantee they would be in peices before they ever saw a blip on the cockpit radar. their airforce has never been a concern

They would never make it off the ground. The problem is the artillery . How to take out the artillery quickly before Seoul lies in ashes.

I watched your video. Thats hilarious. Those planes must either have the ability to add more oil to the engines mid flight or the crankcase holds as much oil as gas.
