He's disliked a few things of what Trump has done, but has basically said he's been mildly surprised about a lot of what he's done. The worst thing he still harps about Trump is his antics. The problem is you don't want to go down the slow of trying to truly define fascism because it takes facets of all types of government's. It's a definition that is tough to pin point. Most scholars will agree with that statement. There is one defining characteristic of Fascism and that is the restriction of opposing points of views.

Second, 'compensatory' doesn't necessarily mean 'paid'. Compensation can come in the form of government action (or even words), and Trump's cult is currently eating it up and feeling well-compensated. Tell me you're not, bitch.
