Because they count on voter fraud to stay in power!

I actually agreed with you here, but...

Is utter garbage. I am fat (5'9" 235), should I ever balloon to the point I can't fit on a ride at Six Flags, I won't demand they make the seats larger to allow my fat arse to still have fun like everyone else. Instead, I'd evaluate the choices I've made up to that point and think, "Yeah, this one is on me."

While I agree with your 6 Flags stand take a look at our (yours and mine...I am also horizontally challenged) fat bretheren who park in handicapped parking places....a lot of those disabilities are due to over eating and making bad choices and leading stagnant lives....choices...I think most of us agree that making life a little more tolerable for those people when it doesn't take much effort on our part, even though they decided to get fat and to develop diabetes and bad knees and hips. The same is true for the mentally handicapped among us who think voter id is about the sanctity of the ballot box and not about making it a little more difficult for people who vote for democrats to do so....

Why the double standard for blacks? Why do their slurs get a pass?

More low expectations.

Hillary Clinton used the "N" word and other racial slurs commonly while in the White House. This was exposed on New York radio about 2 weeks before the election by a former White House cook. Bye bye.

I am only suggesting that it is amazing that handicapped people can sincerely believe that people are voting in person in large numbers illegally BUT it is as easy for a person working 16 hours a day to take care of mundane tasks like getting a haircut as it is for someone on salary who can come and go from their job more or less as they see

So how did this hypothetical worker of long hours get a job with no picture ID?

The answer, of course, is that they have one and this argument is aimed solely at facilitating organized voter fraud.

What is truly amazing is the number of those people handicapped in the way described above who also can't understand why it is slightly more difficult to do EVERYTHING in life if you are poor or work in a job where you aren't free to run little errands during the work day like most people in low to moderate income jobs are.

So people that work low income jobs work every single day? This is a simplistic and utterly bullshite excuse and you know it.

quote:

These same handicapped people also can't understand why it is just a little more difficult to get to a government office building that is 15 miles one way from your home when you don't own a car and must walk, and take public transportation.

Again, a person, throughout his/her lifetime, is unable to conquer this feat? These aren't snails, these are people. Nothing you've mentioned so far contains 1 oz. of common sense. Secondly, the right to vote isn't an involuntary reflex. A very slim modicum of effort is required to obtain an ID. If you don't have one, you either really don't care about voting, or you are an illegal. That is the only options nowadays with today's technology and government assistance available to anything with a pulse.

quote:

. I am only suggesting that it is amazing that handicapped people

Your description of the "barriers" preventing people from getting ID's could only mean these people are severely handicap preventing them from attaining ID's. But please, continue to think it is the rational people that are handicapped.

quote:

y BUT it is as easy for a person working 16 hours a day

You are assuming the poor work 16 hours a day based on what? Feelings? If you want to base it on the BLS, the average work week is 34 hours/week. That's for full time employees. ARe you somehow saying that the poor part time worker is working more hours than the full time employee? Your argument if failing around your own words.

quote:

This is why I think we should pass voter ID laws because it will ease the fears of the snowflake who believes (they certainly aren't thinking) that voter ID laws are about the sanctity of the ballot box and not about making it a little more likely that poor people won't go to the trouble of voting.

Voter ID laws are common sense. You know it, i know it, we all know it. You can come on here and pretend like requiring an ID vs. using the honor system is some big travesty and inconvenience to the poor but you have literally zero proof or evidence just based on your idiotic logic that somehow the poorest of society also work 16 hours/day, 365 days/year. Your argument is filled with stupidity. It's evident by the scenario you make up to support it, not by any facts or figures.

You are a poor, poor, poor debater.

and we have a long, storied history of doing that in this country.

When was the last time a minority was prevented from voting due to his skin color? I'd like the year and a link of when that happened.

Again, I have no problem facilitating the fears of the mentally challenged

Says the retard that just stated that "race" is why we want voter ID laws. If you want to make an impactful statement, don't start with the "yeah, well you're all racist" argument. It's the bat symbol for dumb-frickery.

If voter fraud was as rampant as Republicans claim it is, wouldn't the Democrats rig the elections in states that are tightly contested?

Wouldn't they, you know, actually win? Padding several million (lol at anyone that believes that) votes in California would be a ridiculous waste of resources when they could take the White House by spreading those votes across swing states.

Explain how, first? I'm not following you. Too much dribble from your open mouth.

Where are the majority of illegals coming from? The Southern border. What states consider themselves sanctuary states among the southern border? California, that's right. What states actually have benefit programs and allow illegals to go to public schools? Bingo, California again. What states refuse to enforce immigration laws on our southern border? That's right, it's California again.

Can i stop making you look stupid now? Or do i need to continue?

ETA: I love when these democrat underground regulars try to come here with the same logic. You guys get beat down so easily.

I HAVE BEEN SCREAMING THIS AT THE TOP OF MY LUNGS FOR YEARS!

Until Republicans start shining a light on the racist, hateful policies and positions of the Democrats, we're going to continue to get shouted down.

We need to show up at rallies enmass and chant, "DEMOCRATS HATE BLACKS! DEMOCRATS HATE BLACKS!"

They always have. They always will.

This topic comes up almost monthly, and every time the OP isn't really interested in hearing the answer. The tone of your post suggests the same.

I have no problem with polling places requiring id to vote.

It impacts Ds more than Rs- and of course, that's the point (shocker - it's political) but I can't for the life of me come up with a reason NOT to require some sort of id when you vote.

it's one of the most contorted arguments i've ever seen

watching people try to make the argument always makes me feel like they're just brainwashed

We need national biometric id. Deals with illegals issue and voting and getting on plane and driving.

I saw the Teachers Union leader go get 40 Mexicans, here for 6 weeks to pick sweet potatoes for a Bushes canning factory. They went and got 2 HeadStart vans, went to the farm and took them to go vote all Democrat. They were preregistered on 3x5 cards. I tried to talk to them, all could not speak English but their one leader who spoke a little broken English. Later, I went to the other side of town and saw a second effort to vote Mexicans. 2 school vans were used to pick up about 15 Mexicans and they voted Democrat in another precinct. I saw this with my own eyes. I was involved for another candidate. Multiply this nation-wide.
